Actually DF I was looking at a scenario the other night where Swans would be able to present their wooden spoon to Subiaco......then I woke up..

BC has posted that Oskar Matthews has left Swans to play at Subiaco this season.
Was a developing young ruckman who had a few injury concerns last season if memory serves me right?

87 kg is not heavy for a ruckman so maybe he needs to put a bit more bulk on. If he can't crack a game at Swans you would think he would struggle to get a look in at Subi but maybe a change of club and a different role may open up opportunities. Good luck to him.

Yes as you say Mike good luck to them but by my estimation that is now 3 players from SD or our country zone that the perennial top side (Subiaco) have recruited from the WAFL's bottom side (SD) this season alone- Matthews (SD), Farmer (Karratha), Upton (Dampier).
Have I missed any others and is this a good look for the club and the competition?
