Only positive today was the good kicking at goal. But the usual problems came out again.Ran over terribly in the last qtr.But the result was sealed at 1\4 with West's booting 6 goals. With Swans not capable of kicking a winning score.
West Perths use of the footy in the wet was very good. They also smashed Swans in the clearances. And pressured the Swans player with the footy.Which made it difficult for them to go fwd.And that small fwd no28 Knott cut our. defence to piece
s.
The body language of the young players look terrible. And there shades of 2016 out on the field.Would hold my breath for our next win.

Look I know you’ve hated me saying this over the years but your coach coached our twos and I’m telling you....

Agree Gtrx it was awful to watch. Usually I am the first to recognise when an opposition has outplayed us but West Perth looked like they were doing training drills on many occasions today. Not going to get too many wins with 29 forward 50 entries in 4 quarters of football.

I think I am starting to see what you mean although I think the problems in the club are not all of Pickerings making. We have been on the slide for a number of years

Totally unacceptable spineless non effort put up by 90% of the players Mike.
Changes needed and not just in playing personnel as we are going nowhere but backwards at a rate of knots and resemble a rabble

young Bill got another go mate bit there

We are currently playing with absolutely zero zest, spirit, effort, skill, dash, dare, endeavour etc no game plan evident I could
go on and on.
We are quite frankly Boring, dull, unexciting to watch and not worth 15c admission price let alone $15 but as Mike has pointed out before there is no concern from the powers that be as the football side of things let alone striving to win premierships is non existent as our focus is all about community!
But getting back to the drivel dished up today by a shell of a club nothing should excuse giving no effort like was non existent today as it doesnt take any skill to give an effort and it would seem it is extinct out of Yalgoo!!

In the over 50 years that I have watched Swans never before have I seen a team so devoid of a game plan.
If there is a plan and it consists of kicking the ball in any direction except towards the goal then we are following the plan to the letter.
On the drive back home I pondered over whether I have seen a more disinterested, spineless person in a Swans Jumper than Josh Simpson.
Just another example of the wonderful recruiting by the lawnmower man.
This season is over and at the risk of sounding like a broken gramophone, nothing will change unless we clean out from the top.
if you wonder what I am on about, take time to review our long term plan and KPI's and none of them say anything about winning games of football and participating in finals.

Mike or others. I’m interested in young Lachlan Riley who crossed from Peel and is playing ressies. Any chance of getting a run in the league?
