Changes needed and not just in playing personnel as we are going nowhere but backwards at a rate of knots and resemble a rabble

Terrible effort, not switched on at the start, didn’t adjust to the conditions and skills pathetic.
Need to spend some money and get some decent players to give the coach a chance or move him on and get someone else in

Totally despondant when I walked away from Bassendean today. What has happened to our once great club? Today there was no effort, abject skills,no sense of purpose amongst the players and completely clueless coaching. Everybody knew that the rain was coming at around 3pm so it was vital to get a quick start and a few goals in front. So what did our genius coach do? He put everybody behind the ball in the first quarter. The result was that the ball was camped in the West Perth forward line for most of the first 30 minutes, on the odd occasion that Swans did manage to get the ball out of their defensive area, there were a line of Falcons sitting back to take the ball and pump it back. The result was 6 goals to 2, then the rain started in the 2nd quarter. Game over.
The only light at the end of the tunnel for me was the performance of young Farrant who put some of his more experienced teammates to shame with his effort. Time to give more of these young guys some games now that our season is over. I'm not sure where to from here but we are now odds on to collect the wooden spoon.
