Not exactly to the level of shit that your mob have been for the last few years KCEF. Stavros was actually an Assistant coach under Harding when we made the finals in 2017. Hampson is not our best player. I would rate Notte Turner and Riggio higher than him. Having said that, there are obviously some issues at Swans, both in the football department and elsewhere, given the number of players who have walked out over the last few years.

gee, East Freo fans are up and about, must have been the 14 point thumping they gave us that turned them from a rabble to a WAFL powerhouse !

Well George is actually a Subi player originally as you nabbed him from them!
It could be argued your best player currently is a SD lad!

They've struggled to play four quarters at times but I think its easy to forget just how young this team is. Average age last Saturday was about 21 I believe, and they're missing the on field leadership of Ellard and Palmer. Stephens has played a tagging role on the best opposition mids the last two or three games, he's 26 but only played a dozen games. I think they're going OK considering the lack of experience. They've been in most games until sheer class over runs them. Could easily have a much better win - loss record, hopefully they can maintain the effort and results will come.

How then would you explain Howlett's lack of possessions?

He is 26 years old and since allegedly being promised League football to switch from East Perth, he is averaging 10 possessions per game in 5 games.
Not really good enough for someone with his experience.

And not everyone is a tagger

The forecast for saturday looks pretty dire with 30mm+ of rain forecast. There is some doubt about when the storm will strike, could be sometime in the late afternoon so if this happens obviously an early lead is vital. Seems like ages ago that we beat an under confident West Perth at Joondalup on a sunny day in April. Since then the Falcons have recovered nicely to put themselves back in the hunt whereas Swans have gone baclwards.

Interesting point was made by a few swans fans on here about on field leadership. It was noticeable last week that Kane Mitchell was almost coaching the team on the ground, pointing out where teammates should be and yelling instructions. I havent noticed too much of that from the senior players at Swans who are generally quiet blokes who lead by example. Swoop used to play this on ground coaching role for us in our halcyon days. Maybe Swans need someone in the midfield to play this role. Coaches can only do so much from the box.

fair bit more riding on this one than usual - black & whites can get to the edge of the 5 or the Cardinals could start nailing down 5th
almost got it right last week so it's Swan Districts by 10 points here

Only SD fans would believe that argument BH LOL....Griffen has clearly been EF prime mover in improved performance since coming back from 5 weeks of being out injured.....but hey that is only the view of this EF fan...not really sure what the other EF "fans" think....what say you KCEF?

Considering ex EF champ Graham Melrose made SD team of the century and ex SD champ Mark Olsen didn't make EF team of the century....bit rough with the EF compliments there MO.....think Percy might be a bit miffed too, considering how long he has been helping out down at SD to

I reckon Boekhorst would consider himself your best player this season thus far!!!

Talk to Blaine and he will confirm that the toxic nature of Swans football dept is the main reason for him turning his back on a club that nurtured him and gave him the opportunity at AFL.
