Sour grapes ? that game summed the joke that is the alignment, Darling won the game for a team that he has no ties to.
East Perth only kicked 5 goals, the game was won by players who East Perth were given on a plate.

Well done to Swans, need to back up that effort over the next few weeks with similar performances.

The whole competition is fundamentally flawed. Swans yesterday played a strong East Perth team full of Eagles players, on other occasions they have been purged by Eagles injuries making them easybeats. This makes playing them ( and Peel for that matter) a lottery

What games apart from round one was EP easy beats although I don't disagree our advantages are huge. The loss of Smith, Cadwallader injuries to Anderson, Lee and Fraser etc have us a far weaker team this year. I don't go to Bassendean for safety reasons but on TV the crowd seemed to have a lot of blue and black even in the Swans members.

Swans have injuries as well, 3 of our key players Geaps, Simmo and Blight not playing yesterday so irrelevant to post about any injuries you cop when you can call on a west Perth product to win you a game.
East Perth kicked 5 goals yesterday yet I bet their supporters were creaming themselves over Jack Darling, Lycett and Newman kicking goals, would have to question their intelligence if they got excited over that

Check out rounds 7 - 9 Larry, including when EP were held to 2 goals at the Showgrounds and conceded the last 12 goals of the match at Joondalup. As for your comment about safety at Bassendean, did you notice the number of kids at the ground yesterday? Or are you scared of being mobbed by a group of feral 9 year olds

Where were your supporters around the team huddle at 1/4 and 3/4 time LB? As for your other comment, pure and utter contempt is what it is due.
