Just finished watching the last half how the fark did that West Coast numpty Darling get away with that push out on Howard at FF in the last qtr ????
It's just one but shit that was 4th Grade amateur stuff it was so blatant champion

Yep mate and those things make a big difference to the end result!

Disappointing result, although Swans did have some outs. The losing margin not being all that great is good for Swans because their percentage still remains high.

It is all a big joke down at Maggot HQ if the qtr time breaks are anything to go by ..with the overweight buffoon who has coached them to these all new low standards over the last decade or so having a great old laugh with Porky Parry and the other 2 green numptys despite some of the most staggering decisions that had all supporters in the outer scratching their heads with disbelief!

I thought Howard did a good job overall. Well done by the organisers for keeping the disco action going all day, heck it wasn't so bad in the end, at least half of our crowd stayed until the end this time and I even got a chance to have a chat with Danny Penny ...

It was a struggle to find many East Perth fans today! Seems they have gone the way of their defunct club

I haven't caught the replay yet but can anyone tell me how the oval and crowd came up on the box?

The crowd was very good considering the bleak weather in the morning and it being live on telly. In my opinion it again goes to show that we are leading the charge off the field. I think the club made a huge effort to make sure we got a good crowd despite the early start and tv. To have some 800-1000 kids participate in the junior parade was amazing and with most of them having to bring a parent that's at least another 400 through the gate. I'd say there was 3/3500 there,possibly more. And noticeably very few East Perth supporters.

I mentioned in an earlier post how East Perth have made a mockery of the comp. No clearer than this today! If we'd played them 3-4 weeks ago when they only had a handful of Eagles playing we'd have won but as it was today we come up against what I counted to be 11. Make no mistake,and I said this after we 1st played them,they are the team to beat for the flag if the eagles have a good run with injury! They won't let it slip this year.

The game itself.
We were gallant! We couldn't keep the high skill level displayed in the 1st 40-50 minutes up but our attitude,intent and will was there all day and if we can bring that effort each week then we will win more than we lose. That's our challenge but.
Despite Darling kicking 5 Howard was great,could easily be on an afl list. Himself,Ugle and Broad were good all day but particularly in the 1st half. Ames,Davo, Notte were good as always,Cary was a lot better and I liked Jukes and Donovan. The team had a lot better balance to it today. Jason Daniels needs a break!!

Great win by the ressies today which keeps them in touch with the 5.

Colts just need to hang in there until the 18's boys get back.

Next 2 games are huuuuuuge for us.

Whilst extremely disappointing to lose the game to the devil incarnate's reserves' team, every single Swans' supporter should be extremely proud and grateful to support the mighty black and whites. From the colts' performances which showcased a number of 15 and 16 in our colts' team yesterday; a wonderful performance by Swans' reserves team which completely decimated "East Perth's league team" and the performance of our league team in the context of the opposition both players and others on the footy field augurs well for our future games this year.

A note about the administration in organising the great day with the junior footy day showcased why Swans is such a great club to support.

Finally for those deluded, albeit very few East Perth supporters, who think that our opposition yesterday was East Perth, have a look at the complete lack of supporters around the "East Perth" team at 3/4 team. What a completely base, immoral and pathetic club it has become.

Sour grapes I believe. Does anyone have the free kick count for the game I can't find it.
