Congratulations to the boys, they played well, I went to the game with a who gives a chit attitude given we won't be playing finals, to my surprise the boys played like a reigning premiers team should play like..

Also the reserves had an important win that has them in 3rd slot, with a little luck they will play finals and try a break that drought that goes back to the swinging sixties!

No worries mate hope it holds together!! Swandog is a great guy, I am sure he will be looking at the big picture, Swans will turn it around come Finals time, they are a dangerous team in September.

I was concerned because he had that bad injury after the state game. I hope he is ok.

Funny you should say that Winger, I was looking at Marcus Adams today wishing he was still in a Swans shirt.....Their lack of bulk and size has been less of an issue while they have been playing well as a team and combining well, but it was so obvious today when their skills were so bad and the effort was insipid by most players.
Not reflecting on your players badly because they played very well but for goodness sake, Black, Kerr and Nelson all got 40 touches or more today (mostly uncontested) and that is an indication of how embarrassing and uncompetitive Swans were.

Just to cheer us all up, I just read on the WAFL website that Swoop, Jetta and Rodgers were all reported after today's game. I saw the Swoop one and he may not be playing next week IMO. Probably frustration but no excuse for playing outside the rules

I thought swans were in some media quarters odds on to get the wooden spoon with wat happened off season. they could fall over now and still over achieve. theyre playing a lot of kids aren't they.
