Brandon played reserves last week and got injured I think and a couple are with High Wycombe - not sure whether its fitness reasons or something else.

Good point Cesspit, there were 4 Jettas on the list early in the season. I think Brandon was an emergency last week for the league team but I'm not sure if he ended up playing reserves.

Yes I remember that day mate - I can tell you there were a few full-backs in 78 & 79 who had nightmares thinking about those telescopic arms of yours grabbing marks .... if I remember rightly you were a bit of a deadeye kick too

Max George went from Swans to Fitzroy in the VFL then ended up at Central Districts in the SANFL freeze ..with Olsen & Beasley at the club we probably had more than enough Full Forwards in the late 70's!

Max George was still playing Amateurs here in the mid 1980's - into his forties , still looked trim & going ok

Cannot remember who he played for might have been Nolla or Bayswater ???
