DF, how you feeling about this week's game. Surely you must be starting to dream just a little. No matter how hard I try I can't begrudge the Demons a little September action however to do so at Swannies expense is incomprehensible....some sort of game looming this weekend for both teams.

At the risk of sounding a tad cheeky I thought you blokes blamed 'yellow' footy last time round. Both games between the 2 clubs this season have been a pleasure to be at so I'm flicking the ammo duties this week and will be heading down to watch what I hope will be a lot better match than the lacklustre SD v WP game of last week. Let's hope both clubs bring their A games and we get to see some cracking WAFL footy. With so much on the line for both teams anything less will be a disappointment. That and the possibility that someone will fill in Kyle Reimers (its an Essendon thing) has me chomping at the bit

Won't name the player but from behind the dugout during the 2nd qtr of the last game at Brownes stadium I half-heartedly offered one of the SD boys a quick $500 to go out and fill in Kyle, said player just looked up from the exercise bike and with a wry smile said 'nah, I'll do it for free'....i'm still waiting

If Wes has spat the dummy after being told to have a run in the Reserves after being out for 4 weeks with a leg fracture then that beggars belief!
He obviously has an over inflated opinion of his own ability if he thinks he is above playing in the 2's let me tell you as the likes of Twomey, Blight, Casserley, Stack, Grover, McDougall, Salacic, Tunbridge, Peake et al have all played Ressies football during the season & all but Salacic who was the State Captain a few years back has played AFL footy!
