DG that South Aussie muppet Vozzo calling for WCER to be allowed player concessions, top ups etc only a month or so back is being shown up now for the complete joke that it is/was now they have most of their list back to full health and also putting a few boys on the long term injury list to pick up some very handy mid season WAFL top ups too I might add plus the additions of  ex afl top 10 draftee Garlett, plus Sumich etc.
Every WAFL team gets injuries it is a fact of football life being a contact sport but to see that flog pleading to the WAFC for extra help was completely embarrassing and if Nisbett had any idea he should have frog marched him out the door back to SA for good!

Swans have had a good run with injuries so far with the only major one being Spackman struck down with a knee injury  and Jetta and Riggio missing a few games from memory. Certainly nowhere near what East Fremantle and Perth have experienced. This has enabled stability within the team and the consistency and confidence which comes from having the best players available most of the time.
Costigan was put out of business in the first 5 minutes of the season too Mike, Bayok & Howard are also out injured at the moment.
I think you will also find a few boys have played on sore through the season so far, without mentioning any names.

Spot on Mikeh, stability is the key even more so when your best players are fronting up each week, irrespective of how sore they may/may not be....their mere on field presence generates confidence in the middle tier players to step up and contribute....like I said it's no dig, just pure jealousy on my behalf......what I would give to have the likes of Chalmers, Schoenfeld, Dixon, O'Reilly and Marsh running around during this important crunch time of the season...all these boys are  as important to EF playing dynamics as Anderson, Fisher, Palmer, Notte, Gault and Jones are to SD.....Riggio hasn't missed a game from memory.....just being green eyed and all that.

Was injured vs EP and missed against WP but what would I know only seeing every game live!

Also wasnt EF's Marsh "injured" an a nightclub incident, hardly football related!

Yep fair due BH, Riggio started 10 out of SD 11 games so far.....that is an terrible aberration on my behalf missing that  live WP game....humble apologies mate....as for Jono, yeah fair point, still can't play due to an "injury", footy related or not.....which still impacts EF on field progress.....

Anyway good on SD for filling their boots when being relatively injury free compared to majority of the other WAFL clubs pushing the year in year out top 4 regulars....let's hope you guys make it count.....looks like Pickering is doing a good job.....long may it continue for you boys.....he sounds like a good coach with a sound footy match day plan....obviously you know that better then me watching his coaching prowess first hand.

Just out of interest, when was the last time you went to a game 42?
Why do you want to know?

Getting back to the topic I thought our indigenous boys were superb in the weekends Naidoc Round clash-
Warrick Wilson, Jiah Reidy & Lewis Jetta.

Also kudos to the club for a superb pre game Naidoc week tribute once again and also the sound of the didgeridoo playing after every Swans goal was a nice touch as well.
