Fisher has been quiet by his standards over the past few weeks. He is certainly getting a lot more attention from the opposition this year. However Anderson, Cipro, Bayok and Turner have all picked up the slack and kept the midfield running smoothly. Edwards has really come on as a forward presence this year and with Palmer, Noble and now Wilson, Swans have a significantly more potent forward line than they have had for many years.
The defence has been operating smoothly all season and Notte played his best game of the season yesterday.

With respect to Wilson given his kicking skills I would think that our forwards would appreciate his delivery into our forward line playing as an attacking half-back or on the wing.

Tony was very good against Subi last week as well Mike as was Reidy.....but quite unbelievably both were not even named in the best players by The West's racing reporter who "covered" the game....more than likely from Belmont Park!

I think I can top that BH. Last week Schloithe was kept to his lowest stats in his career. 4 kicks, 8 handballs and 1 behind. 3 of his 4 kicks were frees and was named South’s second best player in the Budget. 😂🤣
Get on your bike.
It was Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve.

Yes, Swan Districts defence has been operating smoothly thus far. Currently their defensive unit is running only second to Subiaco's.
At the moment Swans have 473 points against them which is well below the average. The defence rate is currently .86 which is 14 below the average. A lot of the other teams figures are are not as low as that.

That is interesting DD as most weeks they just pick the top 5 or 6 disposal winners (usually all mids) and name them as their best players.
Last week Tony must have taken 5 or 6 intercept marks at CHB in the pouring rain against Subi which was far more influential than a mids 17 disposals most of which went to the opposition, and yet he wasnt named in our best 6 in the paper...go figure?!

Nothing can surpass the effort of the Sunday Times when they named (from memory) Chris Peel as one of our best players when he didn't even play in the game.

I presume that was a rhetorical question?

Not at all, was interested in your opinion of the game including kicking 16 goals in the wet.
