Well after last weeks loss against another Top 4 side yet again we front up to EF at home this week.
Interesting to see we had our second player go up to the tribunal this year in Jetta and our second player to cop a suspension whilst every other clubs players seem to get off or a reprimand at worse.
EF had 3 players up in front of the mrp and not surprisingly all 3 got off hmmmm.
Hopefully the club is going to appeal the ridiculous Jetta suspension as Delahunty not only played out the whole game but was arguably the best on ground or at least close to it.
Anyway back to this game EF have been similar to Swans in that they have accounted for the bottom teams but struggled to beat the Top 4 as I like to call them- SU, CL, SF & WP.
They have a good experienced midfield with plenty of ex afl listed boys who can go through there in Schoenfeld, English, Eardley, Marsh, Kommer, Snadden, Boekhorst, Jansen, Tucker etc Strnadica in the ruck and also ex afl listed key forwards Dixon & O'Reilly and a steady tight checking defence.
Another loss here for SD and the pressure will go right on the whole club.

How many weeks did the Subiaco player get for the head high contact to the Swans's player?  An umpire saw the contact as a free kick was given for the contact.

It wasnt even up before the mrp 42!

I didn't think there was much in it as well but if you look at a replay on The West website he's definitely not going for the ball...so don't think you lot can complain to be honest. Maybe Jetta should think long and hard before shirtfronting blokes as there's not a lot of upside these days.

42 you better ask former Subi player and current WAFC commissioner Phil Lamb that question?

I am sure it would be all above board and totally unbiased of course? 

42 as an aside seeing as though you dont get to the WAFL very much these days and the pm function is no longer working here I was wondering if you were aware a SD man we both know sadly recently passed away?

Yes it is sad and condolences go out to his family.
I have been meaning to inform you but you havent been in attendance since the unfortunate occurred.
 

Looks like another dire weather forecast for Saturday. Worse than last week. Turns the game into somewhat of a lottery. Swans issue last week was they allowed Subiaco to get away to a 3 goal lead in the dry and were then playing catch up footy in the wet 2nd half and inevitably ran out of gas in the last quarter.
If Swans can bring the same brand of footy they played in the 3rd quarter last week to their game more consistently, they are capable of matching it with anyone. East Freo have certainly improved despite their setback last week and any slackness or sloppy football on our part will be punished. Should be a good battle and I'm hoping the home ground advantage will get us over the line.
Both teams would have taken a 4-3 record if offered at the start of the season and that will be the case for the winner of this game.

Watched the replay 42 and how Delahunty was not reported let alone cited by that muppet Phil Lamb is flabbergasting especially considering he gave Jetta time.
Delahunty deliberately elbowed Riggio to the head/face at around the 11-12 minute mark of the last qtr.
Lamb should be sacked immediately from his position and replaced by a non partisan official!
