Well our last home game for 2020 coming up against the much improved Demons this week.
As a SD supporter the football we are playing is hard to get enthusiastic about with pitiful goal tallies so far of 6, 7, 6, 7, 9, 6 but have always enjoyed the battles in the past against Perth our traditional Eastern Suburb rivals.
Looking forward to watching young Logan McDonald (who has a strong SD family background) playing again as the battle in the pre season game with Grainger-Barrass was a beauty and I love watching very good key forwards go about their craft.
Perth should win this in a canter but just hope to god Swans can give their supporters at least something this week to get excited about and for 2021 and beyond as at the minute it is not.

Get onboard Swans here. Some of our players are more worried about their haircuts for a tv game than winning a game of football. Hopefully they make a game of it for what will be our GF

Perth are undermanned, and SD would no doubt see it as a chance for a more credible win than merely beating Peel. In fact, Pickering has already described it as a winnable game. We are somewhat vulnerable, but should have enough scoring power to get the job done. The hard part will be, with a weakened midfield, getting the ball there often enough. There's also a need for more forward pressure to keep the ball locked in. Our forward line may be very slow, so SD may be well advised to play an extra in defence and work on running the ball out quickly.

Don't worry Ted, we play an extra 10 in defence with usually nobody stationed forward of the centre circle. That is Swans game plan apparently and it has yielded an average of 7 goals per game so far this season so if you can kick at least 8 majors Perth should be OK for the 4 points.

Not only that poor goal tally Mike but I heard the damning statistic that in the last qtrs so far in 2020 SD have kicked a total of 9 goals to the opposition 25 goals.
Just putrid and yet another damning statistic the whole football department have to own!

Thats an interesting stat BH and it begs the question whether they are fit enough to implement the current game plan. They have been in front at 3/4 time or at least in with a chance to win most games this year but have seemed to run out of puff in the last quarter. This is a factor that has been in play for a number of years. On saturday they didnt even score in the last quarter.

Do you still have Noble rubbed out for 1 more week BH? If so that and Hampson out probably nullifies our outs somewhat. But Ted and Satan are right, your midfield can probably exploit ours which is thin at the moment. Was chatting to a mate about Riggio who always seems to set himself for a big game against us and I see some journo has questioned whether the game has passed him by highlighting his much lower than usual statistics. Oh dear, thanks for that you flog. Pencil in Riggio for 26 plus possessions and 3 goals.

Matty Rogers returns from his holiday fittingly against his former club.
Get on your bike.
It was Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve.

Yes Noble got 2 weeks DD so another game to serve.

We could all take Marley's rose coloured glasses to the games but the reality is SD continue to underperform, do not improve in any facet whether it be skills, fitness, work rate, decision making, game style and I like many on here and speaking to at the games have had enough of it!
