Even without Higgins SF still have Strom & Miller who can ruck and also rest forward.
They also have Dragovich back in the midfield who didnt play against Subi.

BH they have the best midfield group in the comp, so many options to run through the midfield. Should be a great clash between Shaw and Notte.

only lost by 11 points and WP are no great side by they got the confidence boost out of the game and SD back to the drawing board.

Interesting you say WP are not that great MO. I guess we’ll find out this weekend. We beat them in a pre season game with both sides close to full strength but we’ve been weakened since by injury and suspension and they look pretty close to full strength.

DD,

We are not at full strength.

Munns
Medhat
Patterson
Hamilton
Alexandre

THe'yre all household names and definitely more important than Black and Nelson.

Would all be in the Ferals best 22 if that puts into perspective for you RL. Unlike your blokes, the mentioned players are apart of a TEAM and all play a very big role. You only have to look at the fact that Lynch made your side :)

I like jimmy miller. He’s a big lad but he better have his weet bics as Gault is the form big man in the comp.

If Notte plays forward today - which I hope he does - he'll most likely attract Strom who played well in defence for South last week. That'll be an interesting battle between two quality footballers.

Yes indeed trs. Watched a lot of the match on the live stream which is a damn good telecast. Swans can hold their heads high tonight because they played some good footy. Was only in the final stages of the last quarter that Souths managed to slip away. 2 of South Fremantle's goals came through mistakes made by Swans players. To be honest, is hard to believe Swans position on the league ladder. They'll be a headache to other sides in up-coming matches for sure. Having said that, a good win for the Bulldogs because they were under pressure all afternoon

Well down to Souths, made the most of our mistakes and made us pay for our errors, Swans effort was 1st class.
Didn’t make the most of the wind in the 3rd quarter.
2 goals from free kicks to guess who from South, once again a rule for one player and a different rule for everyone else, play on for every possible free inside swans 50, joke.

Black & Whites will win games soon if today is any indication - Swans made it a tough game

Extremely happy with the guys effort today. They took it right up to the premiership favourites and were still in front going into the time on period of the last quarter. The final margin flattered Souths. 20 points didn't reflect the closeness of the contest really. We just had a few half chances around the 16- 17 minute mark when we were in front to score another vital goal and we couldn't take them. Credit to Souths for grabbing the game like the good team that they are, but I think that we gave them an almighty scare.

If the boys can bring that intensity and effort to Bassendean next Saturday we will be celebrating our first 4 points of the season this time next week.
