I've a feeling this match to be closer than some think because the long range weather forecast is raining on game day. Good chance we'll see some wet weather footy around the grounds. The wet weather tends to even things out a bit.

Swans may be able to look forward to a few wins in the last 4 rounds. Not this week though. It is very important for us to be competitive though and try and make it as difficult as we possibly can for South. I cannot fault Swans on their effort in the first three games. The opposition has just been too good for them and this will also be the case this week. Things will become easier after that.

I think we only managed 2 goals down there last season Mike so in this shortened game season we might be up for our lowest score ever if we produce a similar performance as that rot dished up in 2019?!

Nothing compares to the 2.6 we kicked in 2016 BH. Harding took us to new lows that year.

Swans have been ok I reckon, competitve. If the WAFC had any footy nous they wouldn't have pitted the last placed side of 2019 first 4 games up against last years Finalists and current top 3. If you can have a good showing v South I reckon you will win 3 to 4 games before seasons end.

If only the WAFC had some footy nous Leedy the WAFL should and would be in a far better space than it currently is!

The WAFL is WA's oldest, proudest, best supported & biggest State based sporting competition by some degree but yet many of the current millennials would not even know it exists let alone anything about it and the WAFC should be held responsible as the custodians of this 135yo institution!

I have tried to forget that year completely as it was like a horror movie from the very first bounce in Round 1 when Doc did his knee.

the 1st game against WP has stuffed Swans season, 20 points up at 3/4 time and looking good and a combination of turnovers and ill-discipline gifted WP 3 quick goals and momentum gone and we lost our way.
only lost by 11 points and WP are no great side by they got the confidence boost out of the game and SD back to the drawing board.
