only lost by 11 points and WP are no great side by they got the confidence boost out of the game and SD back to the drawing board.

Interesting you say WP are not that great MO. I guess we’ll find out this weekend. We beat them in a pre season game with both sides close to full strength but we’ve been weakened since by injury and suspension and they look pretty close to full strength.
Get on your bike.
It was Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve.

they are very well coached and have a good backline.
we kept Lourey quiet that day, top player and always a dangerman against Swans.
Keitel got his usual cheap goals but Lourey is always the tough matchup

They have a good midfield (Black, Nelson, Meadows, Manzone, West, Pierce etc)
Dangerous forwards (Knott, Keitel, Lourey etc)
Steady disciplined backline (Gaudagnin, Wilhelm, Moulton, Rasmussen, Pegoraro, Munns etc)
If they have a weakness it is in the ruck so if Eyres can give Perths mids first use they might be able to gain an advantage there.
Good luck Dees.

Yes they are coached well, however the brains trust at Swans, the fireman, the principal and the not so smart didn't think he was a good fit for us, even though as reserves coach he showed he had all the makings of a good league coach, but then they didn't give the job to Trent Cooper either and look how unsuccessful he has been as a coach.
I rest my case and just wait now for Marley to come on here and blame all that has happened in the last ten years as been the cause of our continued failure as he cites more diatribe handed out by the current management as a way of deflecting their inept handling of the club in the last 7 years.

I think what mark is saying TRSM is that trying to get these nicknames to stick hasn’t worked the previous 57 times you’ve tried so it’s run it’s race. Re nominate for the board if you don’t like what’s happening at the club. I’ll vote for you if you make sense at any stage but up until this point you haven’t, and just continue to bag the club we love. Just chill out a bit and drop the grudge and life will be a lot more fun for you.
In other news, there’s a game on and think we are a chance even though we’ll be huge underdogs. Higgins out gives us ruck dominance. If we hit targets we won’t be far away. Pack the brollies boys because I think we,ll be getting wet. Go swans.

Marley your right that Higgins is a massive out for SF, but last week when they caned subi they swung in a big fella who's name escapes me and he dominated the tapouts and did ok around the ground marking so i didn't see too much of a drop off when Higgins went off, that being said Swans have a quality ruckman, something Subi dont have, Dela is a midfielder who tries hard in the rucktaps.
