Considering the PS look like headless chooks or fish out of water against spin in the BBL I can see the Thunder employing the likes of Cook & Nair with Green out suspended to put them under pressure.

I've got a feeling they may pull out one of their better performances tonight BH. Their bowling was actually quite good against the Stars. They've just got to get some semblance of sanity into their batting. Livingstone needs to be told that you don't have to try and smash every ball for 6. Game awareness is the key.

Gee how do you put a form line through the Scorchers?? They had just about a perfect game last night with a disciplined bowling performance led by Richardson and a sensible approach by Inglis and Livingstone after that flying start to ensure there would be no collapses. This is after a putrid batting display on Saturday to throw away the game against the Stars. To be fair though everybody but the Melbourne Stars have been horribly inconsistent and the Scorchers have already exceeded my expectations of them at the start of the tournament. If they can sneak into the finals they will be dangerous with a genuine pace bowler in Morne Morkel teaming up with Richardson and apparently A J Tye could be available as well. Inglis is certainly one to watch for the future and his similarity both in looks and batting style to Baz McCullum is uncanny.

I suppose Turner & Agar will come in to the team for the next clash?
I guess David & possibly Kelly might make way although when Jordan leaves for ENG ODI duties and Morkel arrives for PS duties is unknown.

From what I have heard, Jordon will play against Adelaide on Friday night and then will join the England camp. Morkel will then play against the Thunder in Sydney on Sunday and stay for finals if they make it.

Great performance but they are so inconsistent. They will need to overcome that if they want to win the last 2 games to make finals.

Bad news for WA shield prospects in that Shaun Marsh appeared to injure his hamstring playing for the Renegades last night. Hopefully just a minor one but it looked like he was struggling to run. It wasn't a good night for the Renegades as Sam Harper suffered concussion when he fell over the opposition bowler in trying to complete a run and hit his head on the ground. Can't really describe what happened in words, you would have to look at the replay. It was a bit of a freak accident.

Any hammy is at least 2-3 weeks, but given he didn't leave the field straight away, it's hopefully a low grade injury.

Looks like it is Green who has made way for Turner not David.
