Good day for the Warriors to reduce SA to 6-124. The only disappointment was Josh Inglis throwing his hand away when on 91. But to borrow a ScoMo "How good is Cam Green". He is destined to play for Australia in the future. Hopefully he can help us to win an elusive shield first!
If we can remove the last 4 wickets quickly, they might be tempted to enforce the follow on and try to finish the game quickly and get back in the running for this years title. They would probably need to do this in the first hour or so otherwise they might bat again and give the bowlers a break.

I have always thought Green was more of a bowling all rounder but this season his batting has really come on maybe due to the injury preventing him from bowling currently.
Super exciting young talent but hopefully the AUS selectors leave him in the SS for another year or 2 to really mature and develop his game as he is still only a 20yo.

Geez, we have done everything we can to lose to SA. Its going to be tight and id be surprised if we get 8 wickets in the last session

Well somehow we managed to pull it off PH mainly due to the SACA's not knowing how to win or draw for that matter as they threw it away late.
I heard they havent won a SS game for 15 games or more?

Think its about 18 games since they won BH. They had us when Ferguson and Cooper were in full flight, only 90 to win off 15 overs with 7 wickets left, then they imploded. Kelly is an underrated bowler and he again showed his pedigree in this match, well supported by Moody and Paris along with some excellent catching. Where was Jhye Richardson in this match by the way?
Its been a good week for the Warriors with the one day title and now this victory putting them back into the shield race. Can they finish off 2019 with a strong effort against the Vics in Melbourne or will inconsistency once more rear its ugly head.

Great effort by both sides to manufacture a close exciting contest...Great to see Kelly finally get rewarded with a 5 for....no doubt Mitch is not far away, so expect Cam Green to be under the pump to hold that number 6 batting spot.....how long does the Bangers show continue...I guess that 23 will keep the lad going till the seasons end....doubled his seasons average in one innings....pity Phillipe missed out.....

You reckon Bancroft is under pressure to keep his spot Freeze then what about Ashton Turner?
He is in a real trough with the bat at the moment, whilst Ashton Agar hasnt taken a wicket at all in his last couple of games.

True mate, but Turner has come back from injury I thought...Bangers has continued on his merry way doing fark all in Eng and now back in Aust....Marsh in for Turner, Phillipe in for Bangers....Agar is more a batting allrounder with his ability to bowl spin....he has a been a huge disappointment.....reckon his brother Wes has taken more shield wickets in his 3 game career...

Yes a good win, probably played their get out of jail free card but as Mikeh said this been 18 games since SA one one.....

According to an article on fox sports Agar has three wickets this season at an average of 136.....WTF even my bowling was never that bad.

I also don't think Mitch Marsh will be back in a hurry, he definitely wont be available for the next shield game v Victoria
