All I claim is he wants to jump contract and personally i think we should have taken the 20k which is well overs for him and I do hope he goes,recruit to replace and get on with it.
And surely not even you believe he wants to go to EF solely to improve his draft chances if that was the case he’d be going to Souths or Claremont theyd be far better options,your money offer to him is bound to be higher than his agreed contract amount.

Mate he probably wouldn't get a regular game at either SF or Cl....yep agree 20K is well overs for the guy....double the money you reckon?....surely easily matched by that loaded war chest in the MRP admin offices

As for George mikeh.....yeah mate disappointing to see George go....but hey looks like George had a good season individually at SD last year....all about George come end of the day I guess....always thought the club was bigger then the individual..but it seems SDFC and their fans see different.....each to their own eh mate?

Yeah mate to be honest Hampson was a rare bright light in a dark season for Swans so I'm glad you guys let him go. Yes he is a very good player but from what I saw he was asked to plug some massive holes in an undermanned team last year which he did on every occasion. He seemed to have the respect of the other players and the coaching staff and he played his role in the team even going to the backline when the team was under siege. Hopefully with a bit more grunt in the midfield this year George will be able to settle into more of a consistent role.

Mikeh great to hear that George seems to have turned the corner attitude wise, he is a uniquely talented footballer, I will never forget his 2nd half heroics in the 2014 surprise win in the GF over a fully loaded East Eagles, but at Subi and at EF his attitude let him down badly. Maybe a bit of maturity now at his 3rd club and glad that the Ducks are getting great value from him. As you say he needs some support in the mids, if he could spend more time up forward, he could easily be a 50 goal player for you

Haha, George is a very good player but not in the same universe as the Bunton's especially senior who won 3 Sandover's and 3 Brownlow's

tm: bunton snr -- good record himself never played in a final for Subi or Fitzroy. george was fortuante he played in one as a young lad.
