in all seriousness MO, i can't believe he couldn't crack even 1 game during his time at hawthorn and freo. maybe hawks you could half understand as he was very young and new to the system but freo not giving him a go mystifies me.

BC true what you say, tho this year EF will be lucky to have one drafted, none invited to the combine and a couple to the screening......looking foward to some game time next year from fellas like Snadden, Cronan, Parish,Bennett, Adamini, Harrold, Delaney, Newton, Fowler etc.......perhaps under agers in Strnadica or Zurhaar......if none get drafted of course........further development from the likes of Fletcher, Schleicher, Solomon, Cripps, Perry, Hebiton,Barone, Banister, Franklin etc.......injury free seasons from Hampson, Symonds, Howson, Piggot etc..........still a lot of ifs and buts and works in progress...

...Young will definitely retire, perhaps ROB....would like to see the likes of MacNamara, BOB, Stephen go around again.....get Simpson back and focused hopefully.......not too sure who may get delisted from the AFL EF wise....perhaps Max Duffy and Harry Marsh....everyone else is well entrenched, young and got time to develop or most likely gonna stop playing altogether like McPharlin after they retire.....though he would be handy at FF or FB!

Was waiting for that MO. BC you have to be durable in afl. Not sure his body can handle the rigours of afl as has been shown. He even missed half the wafl season & things are no where near as intense. Shame he is a bloody good player.

Sure your not part of the Football Department? If not where or who do you get your info and opinions from on players not being able to watch on a weekly basis. Perhaps you could search out or give us an answer on why you kick against a 5 goal wind on a wet day and hand a top 2 side the advantage. Heard on radio yesterday described as the worst decision made by a club this season. One player mentioned in your summary turned over the ball directly to the opposition 3 times for 3 goals in one of the 3 games played on the weekend.

Observer and I'm pretty sure Steve Smith is gonna have a fantastic test career EVEN after those two pathetic shots he played in that last ashes test.......but hey lets write him off mate as farkin hopeless then......WHY dont you get on here and tell us who you rate and who you dont.......you obviously watch EF play most weeks......yeah I have family who go to games pass on opinions, mates who have their own sons down at the club playing.....one in the reserves and the other the colts........as for kicking against the breeze fark dont ask me..........doesnt make sense but TBH EF werent able to kick too many with it in the 2nd or 4th so why was that the case then?........lack of goalkickers perhaps.......I am trying to find positives in a very depressing situation, thank fark I am not there paying to watch it.......tell me how it really is then.....I am more than interested! :)

Coming on here and naming names on who I rate or don't won't make one bit of difference unless I was sitting at a selection table. Who will take any notice so it really is a pointless exercise. Some of those you named I think have a future and some I don't, opinions like aholes everyone has one. I have posted on here before that our skills and ball movement particularly delivery inside 50m is about the worst going around. Game plan do we have one? Midfield get numbers up every week but a lot are not damaging the opposition to any extent. Only 33 inside 50m entries for the game last week, most teams average 50 to 60. How many of those 33 were of any quality or to advantage of the forwards? The forwards probably spent more time up around the middle of the ground pushing up when the ball was inside the opposition 50m which is a demand of modern day footy. Have a look at the weekend stats of possessions per goal and scoring shot, probably double or more to West Perth. I believe that the Football Department needs to put up it's hand and take a large chunk of the responsibility instead of the players copping it all the time. Forwards not kicking goals, defenders turning over the ball and mids running up their own butts. Don't believe ROB makes the call off his own back to kick into a 5 goal wind on a wet day surely?

I agree with the summary, but all those have played reserves except Boyle, who I think is very lucky. Hasn't touched the scoreboard more than 3 times in every game played. The BOB / Lester smith position swap has been encouraging. EF have the slowest mid field and they don't do any damage, and skill level is below par.

Before the malaxos debacle, we were sitting in top 4. That has obviously had too much moral damage on the player group. Sue, not everyone was playing well, but not every player plays well in each team each week. If 14 of your 22 play well, you normally win.

Club needs strong leadership, from the top down. Presidents message was fine, but needed to have been done 12 weeks ago. I heard a rumour that a former player who played at West Coast, and at EF in mid eighties is being targeted for the board next year. I hope they put the players in their best positions this week, as I think the Tigers might be vulnerable. Pressure is on them to win, not us.

I believe he was always injured at EF and Dockers. If you run in to him, ask him why he didn't come back to the Sharks.
