Considering Valentine was apparently locked in for EF senior coaching position, only to go to WP....only karma that Valentine, was coaching  the team EF beat, to end their 25 yr premiership drought...who ironically were coached by the fella,  who Valentine replaced at WP.....

Good to hear tabloid reporter John Townsend get his GF tip spectacularly wrong.

Townsend has proven himself time and time again to be a clueless hack. He’s tried to sabotage EF this year- to no effect- all in the while failing to shine the spotlight on his under achieving Tigers. Yet another Colts flag but know flag for 11 years

Actually we should probably thank JT for his role in this flag! If it weren't  for him Joondalup would not have gazumped us for Geoff Valentine.

Congrats to the players, Bill, assistant coaches, trainers, staff and all who had a role at the footy club to break a 25 year drought....you farkin beauty!!!
For those who doubted Bill, I hope you can eat some humble pie. A no nonsense coach who knew what was needed to get a winning culture to the club we so desperately needed.

Not only was a big day, but a great night celebrating at the Left Bank. Great to see so many past players at the game and at the Left Bank celebrating!!!

I look to next season and honestly say we can go back to back. Jono Marsh, Boekhorst, O'Reilly and a couple of others that look like returning really is exciting for the club to make it 31.
