Odd comments by the President and you'd think its a lock Bill would be extended.

I can't see why Bill wouldn't be resigned by the Sharks but if for any reason he wasn't, I reckon there could be a very nice spot for him back home at Subi. Wardman must be on thin ice after last season and Bill would be a good fit.

We’d have to have an extremely poor year to not sign him,,,you’d think!!

Brayden Lawler  comes onto EF list. 120 odd games for Peel, handy pick up in terms of experience and still some footy left in the legs being only 28.

EF wouldn't want to fall asleep at the wheel!! Wait too long and Subi may come knocking. Just can't see how they wouldn't resign but not sure why they'd advertise that he hasn't! I must be missing something. 

After Bill’s hard work and the club building a list that on paper, looks as though we could go deep in September, you wouldn’t want them to screw it up.  

Two new names on EF playing list

Orien Kerr - 22 yr old speedy midfielder from the Murray  Football league Victoria, also was on North Melbourne's VFL list.

Luke Holian - 26 yr old defender from the South Aust Division 1 Amateurs

I see one of the Victorian recruits from last year, Sam Medland, is no longer on EF list. Out of the 3 recruits from Victoria, Medland was the one who played the least league games,  2 from memory, and one of them was for WCER, due to their lack of numbers!

Kyle White has come off your list. I thought it woulda been finally his time to crack a league game with the losses to your ruck department. Of course i know a club where he would be a walk-up start based solely on his height!

Yeah noticed that to Satan, not sure White would be a walk up start at either Perth or EF. But agree, at 198cm and 94kg, definitely handy to have on ones playing list. Came to EF from Peel mid season last year, got some positive write ups by Dodd.....not sure why he has moved on.

Be interested to see how Cripps(200cm) and Simpson(199cm) go, though both aren't pure ruckman, more tall forward/ chop out ruck sorts...quite surprised EF didnt make a play for Broadbent, though the kids number 1 ruck status got challenged  during 2022 by his younger ruck team mate in Edwards, and Broadbents draft prospects went south as the season progressed....hopefully Higgins can reignite the youngsters draft aspirations.

EF spending a lot of $$$ recruiting in recent seasons, this year is no exception.
