pretty sure harry marsh only signed a 1 year contract last season with subi - is there interest?

Definitely after the season Subi had compared to EF strono. Wouldn't surprise if Marsh  did finish his career playing alongside his brother....and for the club his grandfather represented with great distinction....only a 1 pt player as well....be mad not to show some interest.....though Harry does look settled at Subi, and has won 2 flags with them.

So we’ve picked up Fraser Turner,  great stuff, could be a good recruit.  Fairly versatile lad and could add to the engine room.  Thanks Lukey for getting him across.  All we gotta do is make sure We keep him away from FF2.  😁😁

Turner sounds like a good pick up-The West said a few clubs were chasing so no doubt Luke English played a big role in getting him across the line.

Good write up on Turner on the club website, looks like that running mid / wing with some zip to replace Boekhorst. Speaking of Boekhorst, I see he is no longer on the playing list, no doubt ACL related, frees up some points.

Noticed Dixon attended the Lynn as well, so positive signs for securing his services next year. If a few other 1 pointers come back, then EF recruiting could be done n dusted before preseason. Expect a few mid tier players to look elsewhere for opportunities maybe, if not, then EF will have some decent depth for 2023. 

Hagan and Cleaver look like they will be in with a shout for drafting next month....plus Kaleb Smith could be a dark horse as well, as he tested well at the recent state combine. Couple of decent sorts from the colts could step up into seniors next year as well......mids in Yeo, Urqhart, Spadanuda & Knight,  uitility in Scott and talls in Wills, Praxl and Otto  could be upgraded if staying.....was a pretty young and small colts side from memory though

Hugh Dixon announced as onboard for 2023. He’ll definitely be our most important signing and with Dixon, O’Reilly, Marsh, McGuire and Leggett as options forward it looks to have some depth and marking firepower. Great to see a number of additions already across the competition- setting up for another close season

Totally agree KC, Dixon for me is probably the key signing team wise for EF next year. The last two games highlighted EF need for another quality key tall forward, especially when Marsh isn't kicking goals. Dixon showed towards in the latter end of 2021, during EF winning streak, his prowess for taking a grab and kicking  goals. 

As you say EF all forward line options look good, enabling Monaghan to get creative with Marsh, especially when he isn't kicking goals.....move him up the ground to ise his height, speed and versatility to impact the game either as a mid or rebounding defender. 

Icing on the cake would be getting Joyce, Browne and Strnadica back, definitely be a healthy log jam for top 22 spots..heaven forbid if Harry wants to come back to EF as well to play alongside Jono. WP had depth, which showed not only on GF day, but winning all 3 minor premierships....EF definitely need to strive for that if they want to end their 25 year premiership drought.

 

Any idea of the West Perth player EF are interested in - as per Winger’s comment?
