Firstly, Happy New Year fellow Sharks fans.

It appears we have had a productive off-season. If reports that Jon Marsh has signed- we have added 6 players- 5 of which are off AFL lists. The Round 1 side should look considerably different. This is where I sit- not knowing much about some of the new guys- bar the press releases.

Probably missed someone

Happy 2021 to you KCEF and to all followers of the mighty blue and whites. Will hold off on Marsh at this point - but would be one of the first picked if he does come back to the club.

Strnadica you would think has the job of filling Griffin's shoes as first ruck. Does not appear the most mobile plyer going around so will be interesting to see how he goes - and who backs him up. Bailey and Jansen did quite well when thrown into ruck last year but surely they are a stopgaps at best. Does Dizon do some rucking or has the 202cm Teakle been earmarked with the release of Watson.

I like Jansen as a ruck rover and the courageous Murdock in a traditional rover role. Snadden, Eardley or Leggett potentially rotating as centres with Bennett and Boekhurst better suited on the wings. Likely looking recruits English and Schoenfeld, the holding Baskerville, injury prone Kommer or up and coming Burton could should would push for selection as well.

Defence should not change too much and will probably revolve around Jupp Winton Davies Leggett Tucker and Snuffy. Jackson and Davidson could well force their ways back there after rather forgetful seasons in 2020. Hopefully Bailey as a forward experiment is canned and he fills a defensive role.

Dixon and O'Reilly appear to fill the 2 key forward posts with Bockman, Murphy, Chalmers, Ryan, Montaubin filling the positions around them.

Possible line up at this stage could be

Great job maaaaaate....disappointed you didn't stick in a colts team as well though..LOL Obviously early days but I guess all those recruits will be walk up starts one would think....recruited for a purpose apparently.

Reserves F&B Jakob Ah Chee I read moved from defence to the forward line kicking a few goals in the process....Will be interesting to see how he develops next year....

young Gorringe I reckon will appeal to Monaghans footy thinking....no nonsense no frills sort, who may start early on from a HB or BP.

Hopefully HT comes in in some capacity, as Satan correctly said his presence on or off the park will help the development of young defenders in Davidson, Tucker and McGuire....and many others down at the club.

As mentioned hopefully the experiments of Bailey and Jansen in the ruck and KP forward roles get binned...ok if plan A & B aren't working mid game, but in all honesty the likes of Dixon, O O'Reilly and possibly Marsh provide enough versatility to play those roles...

RLS in the reserves? I don’t think so....

After not playing league last season may have just decided to play footy with his mates at Canning Vale instead.

yeah he did have injury issues & in a short season that didnt help
wouldnt surprise if he came back the following season after recharging the batteries
