I think what most people are trying to work out is the supposed WAFC equalisation policy Anchor? Shouldnt they be making decisions that ensure WAFL clubs like Perth grow and develop. They sure aint going to do it by loosing first dibs at ex players unfortunatley.....

Correct Dwert. The WAFC have a very strange and loose interpretation of the word "equalisation". They have done nothing within the spirit of the literal meaning of the word.
DF is right..This is all bullshit.

so under your criteria for a comp that you dont even attend EP and Peel should for the good of the comp be allowed to recruit who they want under vague recruiting criteria rules that change each year to suit EP and Peel.
yes, sounds like an ideal outcome for Perth footy club, any more great ideas to help the WAFL ?.

I guess if Perth fans knew if Tunbridge, Taylor, a tall forward, tall defender, A grade ruck and mid were definite recruits for Perth in 2018, "losing" Wellingham to EP would be less of an issue...hopefully all the former will come true and the latter a distant painful memory.....

Though I do see peoples point here.....I for one will be super pissed, as the Perth fans rightly are, now, if Perth make successful bids securing Swallow and Palmer for next year, considering EF had just as crap a year as Perth did in 2017....

that is not the same, Perth are under the same transfer rules as all other G7 clubs.
EP and Peel are under different rules and application to recruit a player such as Wellingham is at the discretion of the WAFC.
the transfers are under different clauses of the rules so to compare is pointless.

you can do whatever you want.
WAFL followers certainly know what to do with your opinions on the WAFL.

Dwert like Freez said, he left over 12 years ago.Why should he be forced back there.Probably not even a committee man from that era is still left there.
Regardless of what the policy is or maybe is, the player has rights.

Then the WAFC need to stop bleating on about this Equalisation Policy Anchor...
Unless they seriously look at the issue and make changes so that the more successful and two aligned teams are restricted in the scope to recruit players of the ilk of Wellingham, the WAFL competition is dead and buried. But you have it already six foot under:(

But they are aligned to WC and have access to their players in their squad....

Geez if you want to argue the point on the least successful club in the WAFL. PFC win that one hands down.

Yes I think this is a much bigger issue than just Wellingham and East Perth. It is symptomatic of a much wider problem with the competition. If the WAFC don't look at an equalisation policy in the next few years it will be too late for the WAFL and some clubs will not survive
