I can't believe Wellingham being allowed to sign with EP has attracted over 100 posts. Christ, we're not talking about Paddy Dangerfield or Nat Fyfe here...Wellingham is way past his use by date so not sure what all the fuss is about personally.

the fuss is about the continual changing of rules, if you don't understand that then do some homework on the issue.

no need for a cry and a lame attempt at foul language.
you don't have to think its a big issue, the Perth supporters do and so do others.
if its no big deal then you wont need to comment anymore.

if the WAFC were really looking after their masters by constantly changing the goal posts, than lets get Wilson, Loersch and Riggio back to Peel to boost their 3peat and the likes of Kommer, Keitel, Clutterbuck, Wytik et al back to EP then...to help EP back into finals footy.....esp since they have lost players of the ilk in Mitchell, Giles, Petrie, Lamb, Snadden, Tunbridge, Hill and Gorter over the off season.....surely the signing of Wellingham equalizes any of those losses....

Riggio came to Swans in 2010...3 years before the Peelmantle alignment.
Mitchell never played a game for EP
Petrie played 1 game for EP
Gorter will be staying at EP I would have thought?!

nothing to get over, you were the one that had a cry with the attempt at foul language.
certainly welcome to your opinion, even if it has nothing to do with the conversation.

So you saying the wafc shouldn't have changed the rules about how many aligned players can play in the finals. They have tweaked it once when Peel won the their first grand final and may need another go at it 5 years ago I doubt no one could predict how it would work out. Those that said we would win 5 premierships have egg on their face.

Freezin wrote: Chaddy I think folk get confused because you are on an AFL list and you aren't playing AFL footy that you are gonna come and dominate the next level comp....ask the Perth boys how the likes of Pitt, Stevenson, Bollenhagen, Ruffles, Drum et al were at the WAFL level.....most of then came as skinny unproven youngsters at senior footy, were they WAFL elite?....no different to the likes of Waterman, Bayok, Veneables, Rotham etc currently at EP right now.....all skinny youngsters finding their feet at senior level......yeah they are getting fast tracked fitness wise, but still need to make that jump from colts to senior footy......can see why experienced players like McGinnity and Wellingham will be needed to guide their development......especially since the likes of Moss, Lee, Fraser, Clutterbuck et al have moved on.

Is it possible Wellingham didn't want to go back to Perth because he thought the club was on a hiding to no where and still light years away from being successful......surely wasn't a money thing, heard that Perth threw a lot of coin at all those EF signings yet they went to EF for less?.....how stupid is that...LOL

I saw it too often this year.that plodders got in the way of East Perth players who offered more.East Perth were so much better when Scott Jones was the lone ruckmen. When Giles came back in it stunted Jones who ended up as a backup ruck.I always thought the Eagles should have rookied Jones after watching him in the reserves grand finalAlso San Wright got dropped after playing a really good game when their were so many non performing eagles getting games like tom lamb who couldn't be dropped. We actually played better with less eagles players admittiidly against lesser teams. The fact that we beat Perth with a weaker side and weeks later lost with a crack Eagles side shows how over rated their list is.For those he carp on about us having 22 eagles for selection can anyone tell me when and if that has happened.I would rather go to a ice cream store with 10 different flavours then one selling 22 shades of vanilla.

Yep spot on Chaddy....just because these guys are AFL listed doesnt mean they have EP interest at heart.....yeah on paper they look good, but sadly doesnt win too many games....EP need players who want to be at the club.....not because they have to be.....really thought the SD boys would get that.....obviously mistaken.

Riggio went to SD because he didn't want to go back to Peel because Peel were perennial failiures and shite, no doubt on line with what Wellinghams thinking going to EP instead of Perth....didn't see folk from SD worried about equalization then..so why now?....oh yeah MO says its not the real issue here....or did he?...I am confused what the issue is now.

Those boys were on EP list this year and won't be next year...bet Clancee is put down as a loss for SD next year even though he did fark all in 2017....or perhaps SD won't miss Clancee at all like EP won't miss Mitchell.....actually BH when was the last game Wellingham physically played for Perth?...none from memory for a decade....so are they really gonna miss him?....is it really a WAFC injustice after all?......what you haven't got surely you won't or can't miss?
