Astro. Surely you can see that EP are not as good as expected due to a high number of injuries. Put aside the West Coast players, EP would be a lot stronger with Smith, Lee, Anderson and Fraser playing. Like you do to the footy manager you seem to concentrate putting crap on the officials like Dean. You never mention the positives like the great job he does running the club.

Which club would that be KK? The Eagles' Reserves' team. East Perth is a club in name and name only.

Astro has a son at East Freo so I don't know if he is the best source. I am prepared to answer any question with absolute honesty and no bitter agenda like Astro. Good to see the young man get a game to Astro hope he can stay in the side.

Let me guess your allegiance to the club ended when number one son went to moss street, but was it that you supported the club or just your son when he was there andnot getting game due to others being better.

You need to get your thoughts and opinions based the truth, not every son is the next big thing!

Swan the biggest difference excluding the the ERT crap is that instead of having Ernest Borgnine going east every year and buying players we have to play the players from our zone and the benefit of that is they hey we ran at a profit. Some will say that is down to player payments and yes it has an impact but the cap was reduced so the effect needs to be balanced.

I would be happy if the ERT crap was gone, we concentrated all our efforts on the development process and played the boys from our zone. We might not be world beaters but we might just develop players who can play, want to play for EP and get drafted.

The fact that we have debuted the number of players we have is testimony to the need for our development process to be top notch especially when the ERT nonsense finishes and we have to rely on the zone, that is unless the PT 73 pulls up to the dock again and we become a VFL rep side again.

at least the colts had a day out. they kicked six.

when you have a team starting the year with about 15 eagles players, you then have a reserves side that is second rate at best. Then the eagles get injuries and then you have to draw on these reserves guys to fill up that league side. In other words playing guys who would otherwise (in a non-alignment environment)not get a look in at league level. The end result is days like Saturday when the reserves kick 1 goal and the league kick 2. Its all stop gaps and people managing, that is it. No continuity and certainly no genuine football club process. Its priority is a management regime for a group of full timers over a whole club. You get an embarrassment across the board. But they have money now $$$. I know we have some on here who dislike me for disliking the alignment. Maybe they dislike me because the truth hurts, too bad. If any of them try and justify on any front that a reserves and a league side can kick a combined total of just 3 goals given the handing over of an entire list of AFL players, then I feel sorry for the lot of them. And keep throwing the "loyalty" comeback at me. It doesn't effect me and never has. Saturday rubber stamped my beliefs as bloody spot on.

No one dislikes you or your thoughts on the alignment Jardine. Perhaps your need to be right which outweighs all former loyalty and ability to consider things rationally is better examined by a physiologist not football people. Generally though low self esteem an unrewarding low paying job or perhaps parental issues are to blame for this personality type, but I don't know you. Fire away with EP questions guys I'm ready to give some answers.
