It is quite simple. In the intervening years, between your alignments, we have recruited players, because other clubs ie. Cl, SF and SD have won the premiership.

Should change your name to Pinnochio.$ubi haven't finished last since 1996.I had a look at the 1999 football budget.$ubi squad full of claremont and eastern staters and you haven't stopped.

So which colt is Ben Saunders keeping out of the side.

Which AFL club does Benny play for Chadwick old mate???? Answer >>> none

Same answer to your question (which was a stoopid one given we're talking about alignments)

That's a two-time Naylor medallist who would walk into any WAFL side's first 22

Are chaddy -- yes of course you are right. If you include Peel we finished second last. We had the wooden spoon amongst the traditional clubs, there is no getting around that unfortuanate fact. Don't think I will bother changing my name if you don't mind. Nor will I bother calling you any names.

Yes we had a few Easterns in those days, and the Calremont lads but that is part of my point. None of the money we spent did any good. No flag from about 1990 to 2004, which would suggest that winning the flag is not all about money. Now using the alignment EP had immediate success. Perhaps Subiaco has gone about it all wrong since 1990? Maybe we should merge with EP and be done with it? We would be a really rich club, now that you EP fellows are in the money as well.

Cherrio and all the best

And players have not departed the g7 to play in the country for better money or other g7 clubs for opportunities.I think a few swannies went to $ubiaco for better opportunities.

Surely you are not talking about Twomey and Robinson Chaddy? :S

Didn't go to $ubi for the $$money but the opportunity. The opportunity to play in a grand final.

Do you know them personally then? You seem to know a lot about their motivation. Playing in a GF wouldnt be a new experience for either of them as they were both 2010 premiership players

No i don't know them personally but players usually go for various reasons.

1.couldn't get a league game.Doubt that.Surely would be in swans best 22.

2.Spat with the coach.I can't comment.

3.Better opportunities to play finals.

4.Better money.Did swans have the money to match $ubi.

I am sure somewhere in that lot is some motivation to be playing for $ubi and not swans.

We are more than happy to welcome Wityk & Slater to a real footy club thanks very much Chris! :)

So Keitel goes to Falcons for a flag. Seems the rumours were just that.

Good move.More likey a cardys premeirship then a royals one.And as Crute said heaps of Eagles talls at the royals.Anymore eagles talls have a injury we may have to get Big Mal Brown to play centre half forward.

That definitely sounds like Keitel the team player we all know. Does he think pushing his case for a league game through the media will speed up the process? Will West Perth succumb to the media pressure? Who will lose their spot for Keitel? Has he planned which players spot he will take and how to get it? Will be interested to see how it all pans out.

Agree CC I heard Brett Raponi on WAFL WORLD tonight he would like to see
Keitel play league on Saturday ...
I attend all WP Reserves games and there are more deserving players than him after his 2 games... Ok he is getting better but others preferred.
Sure he will be elevated but not at the moment.
There are 2 or three guys putting a better effort who have played all games as well.
Dont mind saying if he is elevated it will be a matter of it is Politically correct and not the best for the club.
Thursday night will tell the story and will be watching the extended list with interest. I am a great one for players who put in the max effort for the club and team being elevated on MERIT not name.
Political points dont win games.

Cardy I am shocked that you don't think he should be playing league, he is the best player on your list now, just ask his manager and mum, oh and him.

I am shocked that WP haven't recognised his skills particularly below his knees, when he is beaten to the ball and drops a mark or gets a smack from someone who isn't intimidated as a 15 year old.

His pace and endurance are all assets that should have seen him walk straight into the team ahead of any of the other players who work hard, attend all the training sessions, aren't petulant and understand their role in the team.

He must play, I am sure all the players at EP will treat him with the utmost respect and humility, I for one will be racing to get his autograph to go with my Spiro Mallis one! :P

Grump rolling back the sarcasm and the hubris over his move to West Perth. It would appear based on those comments that he is not rated by those supporters, so he shouldn't be any great loss.
