Well with the letter to members ( as a precursor to something akin to the 2000's period), players departing and at the moment it is only two that have been advertised, the idea that Micale will be back at the club the future certainly looks rosy for the EPFC.

I for one cannot wait for season 2022.

Oh I forgot to add, cannot wait for Albo to be the next PM, for the libs in WA to win the next election and Ajang Ajang to win the Sandover for Subiaco,

Context and sarcasm are wonderful things!

So, East Perth haven’t managed to develop any players (a lot of that due to their choice of being aligned to WCE and not allowing their own players to develop) and that is now justification be given up to 14 WCE interstate players…?
And also East Perth want no cap on ability to recruit, while taking on up to 14 WCE listed players….?
Funny stuff

The loyalty of players through the last quisling era was unbelievable many stayed the period and looked to the end as a opportunity to play for EPFC, yes some left and there were some who it was sad to see go but others were no great loss. The draft hopefuls have been developed through the 4 years of AFL control of the development process and colts with the club providing the platform at the DEVELOPMENT level and nowhere else, one is part of the WCE academy but the others were left to folk in the 14's, 15's and 16's process to build on their undoubted natural ability.

This new likely quisling period with many of the same parties from the 2000's is going to seriously change where we are in the future

Tony Micale is a wily old fox,,and a senior statesman  with a very very HIGH football I.Q. ,extremely competitive, and most importantly , not a sycophantic crawler AND will help get rid of ALL of the dead wood infecting the club,so its great news.

I also can't be bothered explaining to clueless ignoramus's what he achieved in his first  stint at the club, but in his second stint he took over a wooden spoon side, and within 2 seasons, and virtually no recruiting, took the club to a prelim. He in fact had an instant impact in his first season where he once again ''bent over''our cash laden neighbours, who were the reigning premiers[surprise surprise!] and defeated them twice during the home away season, and we were very unlucky not play finals in his first season.                                                                More importantly players like Anderson,Stratton and Duncan improved out of sight under his tutelage in his initial season, with the latter pair being drafted, and the club was playing finals in 2012 before Micale departed,so you would have to be an absolute moron to question his bona fides, although some ex colts trainers think they no better.

RLL do understand that when someone has an opinion that differs from yours that doesn't make you right and them wrong its a difference of opinion.

I think that Micale is an ok coach as long as he has the gift of the WCE to provide him with better players to work with, however when he has to recruit he struggles and depite what you think or say that is my opinion.

You assert that he made stratton a better player mmm you might need to ask Ben abt that, as for Duncan, Mitch played one league game and the rest were in the colts but mainly PSA, Micale had little or no influence on his development.

As for you constantly berating or ridiculing my time as a trainer that is fine but as I have said before do it to my face rather being a jellyfish and doing it on this site.

I've got a mate who is a Subiaco supporter who sometimes flick through Ozfooty pages when he is bored, and it has to be said he is not really a WAFL fanatic and just goes to the odd Grand Final. He went and asked me and i quote''you know this Grump is he an East Perth supporter?''which sums it all really when a random observer can't decipher whether your an East Perth supporter, and as for you being an ex colts trainer i only know that from a fellow Royal who sits near the Lotons, and i really don't care.
As i previously said, when we won 5 from 7 you never said blip, and you've been Death riding Barney from Day 1,and your the strangest East Perth supporter i've ever encountered where your are more pre disposed to praising the opposition than backing your own club, but i'm Royals man first and foremost, and if i believe we recruit adequately and we miss the finals, than yes i will say its time for a change, but until then i'm 100 percent behind our club legend, and 100 percent confident he will get the club to where we need it to be.
