Missed the agm this year due to work so cant give you any figures at the moment but the annual report only says there was a "significant improvement in the financial outcome for the year relative to 2018" You would certainly hope so!! May be able to get some figures when the club reopens later this month.

What did the demolition works cost you or did the government pick up the tab?

I don't think it cost the club anything as it was on state government owned land.

But surely you are required to remove it or has the State Government let you off the hook in view of your recent losses and sanctions???

why would Subi be required to remove the building? The club gave up the lease on Subi Oval years ago and the government decided to demolish the whole thing including our old social premises....their decision and their responsibility.

And yet you were still reaping the rewards of that social club's takings right up until demolition BC.
I hope the State Govt will be sending an invoice for the demolition costs of those premises to Mr Capes asap!

The state government could have left it there BH and club could still be getting income from it. Rather than pay for its demolition I hope Subi received compensation for the government removing a valuable income stream.

Given the recent Telstra windfall at Bogandean, I reckon it is fair enough to ask why all clubs weren't offered a phone tower on their home grounds. B)

You were given a compensation package from the WAFC to leave Subiaco Oval in 2003 and yet remarkably were still were able to keep all of the proceeds from the Social Club for the next 15 years even after receiving that.
