Capes no doubt "bought" into the "culture" and "trained" harder for his similar role at Subi Oolll!

Ah so that explains it - of course he would have bought into it, there is no way he brought it with him. He must now get exhausted having to watch players who want to train longer but harder as well.

Not too sure where the Caped Crusader goes from here in his next career move - with his work ethic, excellence, list management skills, overseeing premierships whilst lacking playing depth and having a ruckman who can barely win a hit out, seeing off tough challenges from whatever opposition on a weekly basis and undisputed arrogance he will be well placed for his next role.

Perhaps the GM of the New York Yankees is a role that beckons - whatever it is (with his unlimited capacity for hard work) the sky is the limit.

Ooolll i heard Mr Capes goes through a rigorous workout in his office before he starts getting the brown paper bags out and starts his creative accounting. Star jumps (50 reps), push ups (3 x 20), knee crunches (3 x 20), leg raises (don't they fkn hurt?) until his eyes pop. Capesy leads by example off the pitch and the boys just follow.
Get on your bike.

Given all the posters on this thread from different footy following persuasions, it's clear to me that Subi is very good at bringing the entire WAFL family together as one....well done to my club. B)

and since 2014 they have won 2 reserves flags and made the finals every year so that would indicate they have good depth and isnt that depth from their local zones ?

Yes 3 colts flags, 2 in the last 20 years is an obvious indication that Subi's zones are gold plated guilt edged quality. our sudden rise to a flag in 2018 was followed by us returning to our normal colts position of being outside finals.

so if your zones are so bad why do your reserves and league play finals every year ?
didnt the CEO and coach tell us that Subi players work harder than other clubs so are your colts just not working hard enough ?
maybe that explains the lack of colts success ?

Given you and others on here have banged on for so long about Subi's money buying in players and that is the only reason for our success, how can it now be our zone? geez if we had claremonts zone or yours before you lost Ellenbrook we would have won all games by 300+ points. Cant have it both ways. The new penalties that specifically target Subi will take a season or two to bite, Horsely has said he has one more year, Dela and kitch have said 2 years, we will likely lose Sokol in the draft, maybe at a stretch Borchet & Braut and Litherland has already gone, plus Jacob miller and Dan leach are off to EP. Just as well we have the best zone in the known universe to plug those holes.

I was going to start an "ins & outs" thread for 2020 SS but given the new rules imposed on only our club I might just title it "outs" as there won't be any "ins" thanks to the cretins at the WAFC.

the CEO and the coach are the ones that indicated Subi's league success was due to working harder than other clubs
yet in the colts their lack of success is down to the zones.
why cant they just work harder like other colts team as according to the CEO and coach its not about talent its about hard work ?

MO, perhaps those Subi colts boys take a few years extra to peak into good senior footballers thus all the senior footy success they have.Unlike the SD and EF youngsters, who seem to peak in the colts and then do fark all at the senior level success wise....tho in a few posters eyes here, the extra match fee as they get older magically transforms the Subi players into being better players....tho one would of thought the exposure to a culture of higher standards could help too?...

Subi and all other clubs have very little to do with the colts, it was taken out of ours and your hands by those geniuses at the WAFC, something you already knew so why raise rediculous points like that?

Bad zone or not working hard enough ?
