Has Clarke been delisted? So Clarke gets drafted while still under contract with Subi then gets delisted but can't go back to the club which he was contracted with and gave him an afl lifeline? So same applies to Menegola, Ryan, Baker? What about players such as Rich, Miller, Mayo for arguments sake?

Lets say they continue to single out Subi with draconion measures to bring them down, once that is achieved someone else will assume the dominant mantle, ie EP or Perth who many say on here are cashed up and ready to recruit, do they then single them out and force them down to the lowest level?

It's all just hopeless adhoc measures that speaks of an organisation that is lazy and bereft of ideas, an organisation that appears to lack any feeling for the competition they oversee, have little will or intent to promote or invest in that competition for fear of upsetting their AFL masters and thereby threatening the stability of the gravy train these WAFC board members and senior executives are currently riding at full speed.

The Wafc are like the Fat Controller of this Wafl train wreck. This is a reactive decision not a proactive decision .If they want to clip Subi wings .It has to be done through the zones they have.

Menegola-EF
Ryan-EF
Baker-WP
Could all go back to their original WAFL club?

gtr: one obvious moves in this regard would be to give the goldfields to the PFC or SD
they should also abolish Peel's country zone and return it to SD, EP and CL

If they do both of the above, the following would happen

Perth -- Goldfields
Subi -- York
SD, EP and CL would get their part of the south-west back
Esperence should also be returned to SD.

Why would Subi get York???
It's not the size of the dog in the fight. It's the size of the fight in the dog.
Winning isn't everything. It's the ONLY THING !!!!!!

SS these changes haven't just singled out Subi.
Read them again.
They have given an advantage to Clubs lower down the list.
They have not singled out Clarke per se, his points are too high to allow the recruitment.
If you want a competition then change must happen.
Whether it's perfect or not time will tell.
But you will need to use your paper bags as offers to players will now have to be made known.

DF i thought you might let me have York as a swap, but your right in simple terms, if the aim is 'equalisation' Perth would get both areas. Subi would not have country zone without such a swap. Bear in mind too that, if this did happen I would let South keep Southern River.

AR I dont believe Claremont have been effected at all with zone changes due to the introduction of Peel.
They still have the Great Southern, Ongerup, Kimberleys (West, Central & East) and the best metro zone by far which includes Hale, Scotch & Christ Church Colleges!

metro zones should be near the actual club, however it is split up needs to factor in the kids that are involved in development squads at these clubs and their families.
country zones are a different matter.
sounds like the WAFC doesnt believe the rubbish that Subi's success is only down to working harder..
