Agreed DG. I can't imagine how it would have gone if Halligan, Hoskins and Wheeler were all fit and firing.

97, but no bigger favourites than South against the Sharks in 92 - they were 4-0 in the season against East Fremantle going into the GF buckled like there was no tomorrow.

Is interesting to be reading about the qualifying fixtures this season.
Subiaco have a generally bigger For score in the first ½ than the second. Whereas Souths have been generally the opposite of scoring more in the second halves than the first. They cannot afford Subiaco doing the same and outscoring them to any depth in the Grandy. If the scores are relatively close at ½ or ¾ time, the match should run all the way. This being the 4th consecutive season Souths participated in the Finals. The weather forecast looks to be favourable. Sunny with light winds.

Well that's interesting...Wheeler has been named according to today's paper. I thought Fimmano would get a call up but obviously the brain's trust wanted a rucking option to support Dela. Clang will also be useful and hard to match up on as the third tallish forward behind Sokol and Borchet with Waters, Moore and T E-B as the smalls. Bring it on.

It is certainly down to this - and what a cracking nail biter it is. Supporters from both sides must be on the edge of their seats with the intensity and excitement this GF is bringing.
