I certainly underestimated Peel, or perhaps overestimated South and Subi. Like South the week before Subiaco didn't play to their capabilities. Surely not intimidated by the likes of Dawson, Suban and Pearce. It did come across that way on TV but you may get another crack at them.

I am always amazed at the irony in many of the posts. Here we have the most financially favoured club and don't bother to deny it, bleating abt an uneven playing field. The alignment sucks, look what it is doing to my club but when you have a club that is able to rort the system using alternative funding processes complaining it is simply laughable. The saddest thing is that only place in perth you can get old gold choccies is at the Subiaco Football Club!

That's a bit rich coming from an EP supporter Grump given your mob is financially supported by WCE...which other WAFL club made a $500k profit last year?...and how is Subi rorting the system? it's using it's assets which it paid for in a commercial arrangement like any other.

The WAFL website has update reports from the weekend but there's no sign of Clanger, Dawson or potentially Lockyer. The first 2 must have been referred straight through to the tribunal and maybe they're still looking at the Lockyer/Dawson incident.

If past experience of AFL players at the WAFL tribunal are any indication quite likely Dawson will get a slap on the wrist.. Wheelers sounded quite serious also I would expect a week or two at least...

As I said the alignment (and all that goes with it sucks) so you can get off that shetland pony! How well perhaps using alternative funding arrangements not part of the WAFL or WAFC that no other club has or could afford, as i said shame about old gold being off the market!

all clubs get revenue outside of the funding arrangements with the WAFC even yours....so Subi's seats deal is nothing out of the ordinary in terms of making your own commercial arrangements to generate $.

Wheeler looks like facing the tribunal for striking Ibbotson on WAFL website...Still no news from the MRP on the Dawson hit on Baker surprise surprise...

there's vision of Dawson's hit on Baker on the West website in the sport section Dwert. looking at it you'd think he'd go for sure. high hit, high impact, knocked Baker out and taken off on a stretcher..not looking at the ball and a bad record...3 weeks for mine and no reduction for a guilty plea.
