I'll tell you how...the incompetent and piss weak WAFC make qualification rules which are so easy on the AFL aligned clubs that it makes the whole year a farce and threatens the integrity of the WAFL. I can imagine Subi's players going off to work tomorrow wondering what's the point while Freo goes down to world class facilities and starts recovery with highly paid sports scientists and coaches and begin planning for the GF...it's an absolute fucking joke.

Whats it like being shafted by your beloved Dockers BC.?

Baz...they're certainly not my beloved Dockers as I well and truly went off the pricks after the scandalous change of game venue fiasco and last years GF. The pressure they must put on the WAFC and the fact the regulator caves into them is a disgrace. How can a full time professional qualify to play WAFL finals when they've played more AFL during the season than WAFL? It beggars belief.

BC Just having a stir mate...

Yeah It's good to see the truth dawning on some other footy people about this bunch of frauds masquerading as the thenFremantle FC , BC your coming to know what a lot of South Folk like myself and Dwert have known for years now

As I just posted in another thread the SANFL rules are much fairer. Would have ruled out about 5 of the key dockers today. Schoey and the lions are a proud bunch and Souths look sharp. Let's hope the winner from next week can come up with a plan for the big day so the farce can be avoided for two years in a row

In my eyes, if they dont look for such a solution --- or maybe 12 or 13 a team, such a number would at least be half Peel -- other clubs are going to start searching for solutions. I mean if you have to face two clubs loaded with AFL players, I would be looking to recruit during the season to match them.

I've just sent an email to Gavin Taylor at the WAFC pointing out decisions made by him are placing the integrity of the WAFL in peril when a side that wins 7 games less than Subi during the season and 4 less than South's can steamroll through the finals. I've also asked how is it that aligned players who play more AFL than WAFL in a season can qualify? I suggest everyone on here does the same if you don't want a Peel dynasty based on Freo players as I can't see Freo playing finals in the AFL any time soon.

I saw that it got pretty willing at 3/4 time between Subi supporters having a go at Dawson...but was anyone in the grandstand when the final siren went who can confirm there was a bit of aggro at the Peel players after the game? I went straight downstairs and missed it but Peter Spencer was talking about it on the radio on the way home.

Immediately after last year's grand final I thought Subiaco are going to win every Grand Final from 2017 onwards to the end of WAFL in say five or six years time. Because after what happened in that Grand Final I felt sure the WAFC would implement for the finals: an aligned team can only field a player that has played more WAFL than AFL, and/or an aligned team can only play someone that has played a minimum of ten games and/or; an aligned team can only field a maximum of half their team as AFL players. I guess the WAFC had other ideas ...

Mate I was in The stand in front of the commentary boxes at the end of the game. There was a bit of booing but definitely didn't see anything out of the ordinary at all. 3/4 time on the field was a bit fiery. The whole alignment fiasco has frustrated fans to their wits end.

So the concern has moved from a Subi dominated WAFL farce to an alignment dominated farce....suddenly the penny has dropped that disparity of resources is not good for the comp....TBH without Cam Shepherd and his "expertise", Subi would of won a 3 peat last year and be odds on for a 4 peat in two weeks time.....and 7 flags in the last decade.....

totally agree the alignment criteria is farked just ironic the only club capable of overcoming it financially, Subi fans are here complaining how unfair it is all this disparity of resources...even tho it has given them bragging rights for the last decade...LOL
