Never thought i would be so happy for a Subi win.

Congrats to the 3 premiers today.
Swannies, Falcons and Lions.
Great to see it spread out.

I suppose if i had to have a bit of sympathy it would be for Craig Wulff.
Has always played his heart and soul for that club.

Absolutely Frank, the guy showed true class in his speech after the game. Gracious even though he was obviously shattered. He would be very welcome at Swans ( or any club for that matter)

Not surprising that we haven't had any posts yet from LH, DG, Chopper, SS, Outer Seagull and the other Subiaco diehards. Probably a little busy ATM. It is a special night, I remember that magic celebration at Bassendean 4 years ago....

I am hoping that some of them may post a little later in the evening when their celebrations have been going for a few hours. It could make for some entertaining reading :P

Great win Subi. That was a victory for what's right.

God help EP, because 11 AFL players couldn't.

But Craig Wulff has a heart as big as Ayres Rock. I have to say that .

Well done to the Lions and you proved you are just that.
Great to see Dawson (Coach of the year - what a load of bullshit) and his team put into their place... Ran on thinking it was a walkover but met a Dedicated G7 club..
Ha fond memories of last year.

Well done guys... Farking unexpected but brilliant

Enjoy your night and hope the heads arent to big on Monday

The WAFC will be happy as it will vindicate the alignment but all is not over yet and I suspect they are wolves in sheeps clothing.

Have a very interesting story re ticket sales that could blow them wide open.
Maybe even ACCC investigation... They are spin doctors of the highest order. but more to follow as having a couple of bourbons on top of my numerous $10 pints at the Subi bar.
This message represents the official view of the voices in my head

It is really great, so happy. Thanks to everyone whom has written with their congratulations. Hopefully people on the Perth board noticed the result, together with some of the comments on here about about how the alignment has damaged the old EP club

There were a lot of Swans supporters there watching the Colts today who left straight after and we would be counted in that tally as well!
It was such a shame to see WART have their AFL footy shorts pulled down and bottoms spanked in the wet for the 2nd year in a row! :P :cheer:

What a wonderful day for the underdog and the traditionalist. The weather may have been crap, the crowd may have been small but my god the game and the result was as sweet as it gets. A truly memorable day at the footy. To every player who wore the maroon & gold in 2014, colts, reserves and league you may not all have a premiership medallion tonight but you all deserve credit for an outstanding season.
