I read an exerpt from the papers a little while ago with the EP coach stating 'they wouldnt be stacking their side with Eagles players' - well we'll see?

I would also like to be there to guage the number of people who leave after the Ressies game ... obvioulsy they will be in the count for the numbers attending on the day and while last year the figure of specators increased as the Main Game time approached - I somehow think this may be in reverse this time - BUT the proof will be in the pudding

GO SUBI
As has been written here - rip them a NEW one and most of all - its your chance to show the entire WAFL Wankers who's coach 'should' have been coach of the year!

You've made it with blood sweat & tears - not with "in through the back door professionals....!!"

What will be interesting to see on Sunday is whether the crowd figure will be displayed on the scoreboard as usual.

Subiaco fans, apparently we haven't taken up our allotment of corporate boxes. Just got a phone call upgrading our box for no extra charge. Was told they have cut the price on some boxes.

Might be too late if you already have your tickets but if you are going as a group and were planning on getting them at the gate could be an opportunity to upgrade.

Despite the view that this is pretty much an exhibition match after my beloved Lions won boasting rights as the champion WAFL team last weekend, I cant help but feel a bit of excitement ahead of Sundays game.

There is next to no pressure on Subi, they can play with complete mental freedom, while The Eagles reserves have enormous expectations to carry. They have a team half full of fulltime pro's, finished 2 games and a big percentage clear on top, cruised to victory in the 2nd semi and have had an extra weeks rest.

I expect they will be playing with a head chock full of the fear of failure, which hopefully will restrict them enough to make this something resembling a fair fight.

Should as expected they win then who, besides a few hundred totally deluded ferals fans will think it carries any relevance or credibility. They have half a team of Eagles players, they have the full support of the Eagles vast fitness, health and player management infrastructure and a coach hand picked by the Eagles.

On the other hand if the impossible dream happens and Subi win, it will be celebrated for many years as a win against all odds, a win against an unfair and unjust system, I for one wouldn't miss that for quids!!

Good luck to your guys SS. I certainly won't write you off and even the short priced favourites can be beaten sometimes a la Claremont 2010. If Subiaco can overcome the odds and win the flag you will be entitled to celebrate as hard as anyone has done!!!! Enjoy the day

You know what I have enjoyed about this years GF, it has been a long time since we've been the peoples favourite in a grand final. Usually we've had to put up with abuse about us only getting to the grand final because we were over the salary cap. Now everyone has realised they were false accusations and now we are being held up as bastions and saviours of the competition.

Everyone should know that if you don't buy a Subiaco Lions scarf or hat from our merchandise stand at the front of the ground you are agreeing with the alignment model.

Barney......people haven't forgotten or forgiven Subi's ability to attract/pay their recruits mate, just that EP have done it in a way, which over shadows any thing Subi have done over the last decade.......but that's life......good luck for Sunday......though if Subi do win then the WAFL fan will be unable to say EP alignment to WCE is a guarantee for premiership success......

so do the honourable thing Subi, roll over and get hammered, so us WAFLfolk can truly say this alignment set up is really bullshit and totally unfair!

Barney like when East Perth had a commitment from Richard Ambrose and Subi offered him $80000 and stole him.
