He mentioned in the Locks Mayo podcast that he'd tweaked his knee a bit in pre-season but I've not seen anything to say he's out for the year. Rotten luck if true as I thought he was up for a breakout year after his GF performance. Let's hope it's just an unfounded rumour and nothing more.

The West online article about the Subi v SF games mentions we have barely enough players available to field league and reserves teams. A great test of our depth, glad it's happening now not mid or late season. We should be back at near full strength by round 3 you would think, certainly will get back most of the covid affected guys. Three really tough games to start against the other finalists from last year. I don't expect we will be in the top 5 after 3 games.
