I see Jacob Miller is on our senior list. Didn't he disappear during the season last year to play in the country or similar? If he's back then that's a good addition.

Yes Jacob played in Kalgoorlie (his hometown) for the second half of last year but was mentioned at the AGM he was coming back. Handy player with a good left boot!

Jacob has played mostly on Half back, sometimes on a wing so will be tough to break into that back 6 which is elite, with Locks, Gus, Heal, Kennedy, Rhodes, Stainsby, plus Atkinson makes 7, but a very good back-up if we have any injuries.

Speaking of Atkinson, I would like to see him have a run through the mids, he's big strong, aggressive, fast and has a huge boot on him.

Agee about Atkinson SS. Saw him play in the ruck in some scratch matches about two years ago? and on two occasions he grabbed the ball out of the ruck ran forward and booted the ball through from inside the square . Definitely has something!!

Depends whether he's got the tank to be a midfielder. That's a bloody big rig to carry all over the park for four quarters.

BC more thinking of him as an occasional impact player in the mids rotation, the sort of player who can play anywhere, he's played CHB, CHF, Ruck, halfback, so he is that "plug a hole" Clancy Wheeler type player imho.

I reckon with Gus, Locks, Aaron Heal heading off into the sunset, the likes of Atkinson and Braut will be the new cornerstones of our defence. I know if I were an opposition forward, I'd crap myself if I had to line up on one of those two.

Wardman does like to play Braut as a mid-half forward, but he's a bit like Atkinson, can fill a number of roles. A couple of handy intimidators, that every team needs.

There was an excellent half back flanker in the reserves last year. Can't remember name, but a likely type. Great mark.
