DG who played on Keitel, he's now becoming the leagues best forward and all teams will need to put a lot of work into him. Used to be a bit mentally fragile and could be put off his game with some physical stuff but now seems to be coping with that.

SS: we lost, too --  two in a row to the red and blues against Subi

Lets just say he had a few opponents SS. It was a good standard game both teams were hard at it. Joondy are a fast side Ark

Who was missing? were we close to what would be our starting line up for next friday?

DG; I agree mate, a long time since we have seen a really weak Wp side--in a way, the club fails to get the credit it deserves. 
SS: From what I have read we had a strongish side. We did not kick straight, scorring 8.11; WP kicked 10.5; Keitel kicked 7.4, so as DG said, well done to him.

Shutting down Keitel might be the key to beating WP this season then Ark....

Feeze, he's now such a good contested mark, he wont need perfect supply but shutting down their mids will also be key, as usual sounds like they are a very quick side again.

Kitch, Atkinson and Kennedy missing with a chance to play this week, plus Mayo mid season SS. Joondy are good and fast, obviously tyler is very important but they have others who are not big names but they can play. One joondy bloke got up really high looking for the mark of the year but landed hard hope he is ok

Subiaco faced West Perth away at Provident Financial Oval on Saturday in the final pre-season game before the premiership season begins this Friday.

The Lions falling shoty in a close one by 6 points all while welcoming back key players, including Braut, Delahunty, Harris and Marsh all on limited minutes, while skipper Leigh Kitchin missed the game. In addition to the team, the fresh face of Johnny Narkle had his first hit out with the league boys on the weekend having a few shots at goal as well.

Subiaco led going into half time with 6.5, yet West Perth came out firing after the break, piling on 7.3 in the second half, kicking 6 majors in the third term, to Subi’s 2 points. Subiaco’s shots at goal let them down in the end with converting only 8 goals from 19 scoring shots with accuracy of 42.11%, still managing to only fall short by six points.

Subiaco had multiple goals kickers on the weekend with Sokol being imposing in front of goal continuing on from last week kicking four majors, Faraone kicking two and Upton and Clark kicking one each.

Subiaco finishes their three pre-season games with a win and two losses with much to gain from each performance and looking forward to the first game of the Premiership season on Good Friday 2 April against East Perth at home.
