Freezen with a population of over 106 million I don’t think the Philippines government will have any trouble filling the void of any locals departing for overseas opportunities. Australia could offer to pay for scholarships to Filipino students who can’t afford what is a university degree over there. Desperate times call for a bit of creativity don’t you think?

As opposed to sitting on your hands and just scaremongering the public into believing we should just keep the borders shut and continue to live in a hermit kingdom which results in vaccination complacency and workers holding business to ransom.

Sounds like McClown is reading the Tea Leaves now and knows he needs to get a move on with our pathetically low vax rate 13 % bellow national average, issuing mandates for 75% of the workforce, of course he should of done this months ago, but had dragged his feet.

This business of saying we will open up "sometime" next year is utter BS, he needs to set a target and date and stick to it.

Spot on he needs to have the balls to set a date that says if you aren't fully vaccinated by then bad luck, you will be denied the privileges fully vaccinated will have and risk serious consequences to your health. I'd make it middle of January.. That's plenty of heads up and doesn't mess up our Xmas and New Year. Has Mark got the kahunas to do it or will he put himself and his party first priority leading into a March election?

It is about time he stopped to read the room too. Locking the state up like a little hermit kingdom is not the answer! The state govt and politicians are not financially hurting! Early on in the episode he did a good job but now is simply not with the programme. I am not saying everyone should not be careful, for Christ sake, get things moving forward.

He’s changing his tune alright but still rolling out the scaremongering and the dreadful boasting. We don’t have it here, when we open the borders there will be capacity restrictions and we’ll have to go back to wearing masks. No there won’t dickhead at events where being fully vaxed is required or no entry. Why would there need to be restrictions on capacity and have to wear a mask? You Dickhead!!

A friend’s son works for a local motor wrecker.  He has been told the motor industry has demanded that all employees must be vaxed by the end of December or the company and non vaxed employees face enormous fines.

Yep 20g and 5g fines respectively. Do you think he is taking the right approach though?? He didn't even try to set a date or a strong advertising campaign to hurry people along. I mean he's still talking lockdowns ffs. I don't think this is going to end well for mclown

I’ve already made up my mind I’m not voting for McGoo, didn’t vote for him last time and won’t be next time.

I also won’t be voting for the David Honey endorsed Klu Klux Clan branch stacking WhatsApp Christian nut jobs. The Liberals are a mess.

That leaves Mia Davies as the only voice of reason and I’ll be voting for her and her party. Can we make the WA Nationals the new opposition?

DD Mia is already the leader of the opposition, well it's only 4 Nats and 2 Libs but thats the current opposition and mcGoo is basking in the reflection of his own image with his unassailable position of power. That being said, many in WA dont see any urgency to get vaxed, that will change once the virus inevitably gets in, but then it's too late, just need to look at Vic's situation that stemmed from one arsehole NSW dickhead sneaking in and they are still at 2k plus per day and double digit deaths. I agree with the mandatory jabs as thats the only way to get those complacent dicks who wont get out and get the jab. They still have a choice, get jabbed or get a fine & or look for another job. Those that refuse to vax and rail against lockdowns and travel restrictions, should go forth and multiply.
