So now the facts start to come out, the person who infected the folk in the hotel (and no excuses there Morrison is to blame fairly and squarely for that but McGoo needed to reacted a lot earlier to the warnings) went home to India to get married in December and came back with his wife and brought back more than just a sari, dowry and housekeeper!

According to the worst 134K people have been granted exemptions to go O/S and return at some enormous rate.  A federal issue. It also appears if you do not get an exemption you can fly to NZ where you can then fly to anywhere and then come back to Australia at the rate of 2K per day a Federal issue .

Yes the state government have stuffed up to a degree and that degree is either as a result of not listening to information (and from the numpty WA ama person who is angling for a life in politics heaven help us) but the underlying cause is a Federal responsibility not being done by either Mr Potato Head and his mates. All of the states have been hung out dry.

I have a question after having just been down the bakers for essential supplies with my mask on. I was listening to the ABC and they were talking to a fellow down Margaret Township, he runs a burger place. He went to take away only due to the behaviour of folk who refused to tag in or sign the register, so my question to you all is - do you tag on/in when you go somewhere or have you stopped.
In the beginning of Covid they used to give us rolling figures of how many Australians are overseas waiting to come home. That figure used to come down. I bet that figure has blown back out because as you say Grump, the slow learner federal government lets people fly out for a holiday to highly infected countries, then shock horror they want to come “home” and bring an unwanted gift to Australia back with them, the latest greatest brand new strain of the Coronavirus.

I would suggest we offer them a one way ticket to go back to their motherland they miss so much and stay there. Yes both federal and state governments have blood on their hands and equally to blame but what McClown does is uses it as an excuse after the event. Why wasn’t he banging on from the rooftops complaining about why the federal government was allowing so many foreign nationals to fly home to highly infected countries before the virus escapes? Again, McGowan is a lazy reactive premier, brought about by the smugness created by his popularity thanks to our foolish immature bogan culture.

And yes I do check in on the SafeWA app most places I enter. I think we all occasionally forget or miss the scan in point but a lot of businesses have the barcode at the counter if you didn’t scan in before you entered and I’ve often scanned in on the way out if I forget to sign in on the way in, as everyone should.

I have, and will continue to, register with the SafeWA app at every location that enables or requires it. I too have noticed a drop off in compliance. It’s incredibly short sighted and selfish. Maybe it’s just me. I have worked in public health in bbv transmission and appreciate the critical importance of effective contact tracing.

Liam Bartlett has just exposed this fraud once again, not that that’s that hard to do. Federal Health Minister Greg Hunt has announced NO NEW community transmission IN AUSTRALIA in the last 24 hours.

When Victoria and NSW were in the midst of high rates of community transmission their Premiers were holding press conferences at around 9 am every morning their time. McGoo and Jolly Roger make us wait until 12.30 everyday. Why? Amateurs these jokers.

Heard on ABC news this morning that India is recording that a covid death is happening every 3 seconds accross all age ranges, (mainly due to a lack of oxygen supplies)!!!! thats just the ones they know about. Delhi which has a population around 15-20 million has less than 30 intensive care beds in its main hospital. This is a country that has a nuclear capability, a space programme and probably spends more on it's cricket team than it's health system. Their government allowed a massive Hindu religious festival to go ahead against all health advice and are now reaping the whirl wind.

You wont convince me that the detention centres and warehoused mining camps aren't suitable for covid iso facilities. Most mining camps have airstrips close by that can take most small to medium jets. Christmas island is the obvious place as it's off the mainland, empty out any illegals and put them in hotel detention at least they dont have the virus. As these more virulent strains appear the virus will impact more than just the elderly, many young people who have had the virus are facing lifelong health issues caused by the virus so it's not just old people dying it's younger ones with health issues that will test the health system for decades to come and impinge on their quality of life and ability to support families.

Come on Mark, be a good example to your sons and young men. Be a man and get on the phone to Gladys Berejiklian and ask her how they do it. Ask her how they manage to keep a population of over 8 million safe without going into lockdown.

Also ask her nicely if we can use their website as a template to provide updated real data on latest Covid statistics at the click of a mouse.

SS I believe India has recorded over 1 million new COVID-19 cases in the past 4 days.  It is reasonable to believe that this is an understated figure.

Ask Gladys, you really just being a bit silly aren't you, NSW has had the same issues we have and managed them pretty well the same way but given the level of disdain you have for McGoo I should not expect anything different!

Back to more important stuff, so it is back to a gradual and measure lifting of restrictions and by Saturday 12.01 all should be back to normal with the WAFL being on for young and old, that is as long as folk do the right thing!

Just another fact abt the sub continent, funnily more people have asked for travel 'home' than there were last week, how long have they been there, how long have they been wanting to come home - not very long I suspect!
We live in a time where intelligent people are being silenced so stupid people won't be offended
