The real flagship shows on ABC are ABC News and the 7.30 Report. Both female dominated. Q&A has had several different hosts. Tony Jones I thought has been the main one who was the host of the 7.30 Report I thought. Did he get shoved aside to put women in the chair?

Should we go back prior to the mid-70s when Margaret Throsby became the first woman to read the ABC national news since WWII?  Or perhaps the time when woman had to resign if they married?

And what is more disturbing is the vile and vitreol ABC employees receive who are not perceived to be from the Left when they do chance at appointing one from the center. The fanatical band of leftwing ABC supporters, particuarly those on Twitter.

The abuse harassment and outright bullying they receive is utterly outrageous.

In particular, I refer to David Speers who took over from Cassidy on Insiders and also Leigh Sales who gets smashed every time she interviews anyone from the coalition for apparently being "to soft", they also detest the fact that she attends a Christian place of worship.

Their intent is to pressure the ABC into removing them and replacing them with compliant left wing stooges, they champion Tingle for some reason.

Speers I really feel for, he is the consummate professional but gets berated because he was formerly from Sky.

Unlike the vagrants in Fremantle walking around picking up cigarette butts and checking bins. By the way you might be sad to hear Kimbo’s Fashions has closed down mate. Another Covid victim no doubt. 

Talking ABC - I also notice in the recent radio ratings people are voting with their feet and the 720 Morning show continues to slide off the radar screen, once No. 1 - while 6pr goes up and Gareth Parker is now getting better ratings than Mills and Basil.

Sad news about Kimbos - I was out there Friday walked past and didnt notice, they will have some trouble leasing that spot, I see the Cafe Carpe Diem has moved into the second hand store.

Tonys Barbers still going, That place should be heritage listed.
