How bad has this latest stunt by the ABC been.

Fabricated footage to make Military officials and the Governor General look bad with the dances at the warf.

Turns out none of them were even there when the dance was on.

Really exposes the left wing agenda and blatant political bias to ham traditional institutions.

Gee, a media organisation manipulating the truth, who would have thought? Uncle Rupert says "hi".

You can understand private news organisations having agendas but the ABC is a tax payer funded organisation that is owned by all Australians, this sort of stuff is not acceptable, just report the news openly and honestly is all we want, we should be able to trust the ABC, coz we cant trust the private organisations. Whoever is responsible for this should be looking for a job next Monday. It was deliberate and calculated. On another note whoever organised the dancers (nothing against the dancers btw) for the event should be in the same boat ... no pun intended.

Is it any surprise really? Like staff in Canberra they are most likely staffed heavily by members of the LGBTQI community to put it politely who are the most agenda driven human beings on the planet.

Heads should roll from the top to the bottom but they won't. They would play the victim card.

Let's start with some facts, something that is singularly lacking when it comes to much of the commentary from SAD (Sky News after dark) presenters.  The number of ABC staffers who have gone on to become politicians is around a 50-50 split between the Labor and LNP parties.  Whilst Alan Jones gives the impression of verisimilitude when he starts sprouting figures and percentages an analysis of same shows the inaccuracy of those figures and percentages.

I believe that the article has been amended.  I will be interested to see the ABC's Media Watch programme next week.  Does Sky News (Australia) have a similar programme to critically analyse their own programmes and presenters?

To state the obvious the agenda of the Murdoch media is to get rid of the ABC so it has complete domination of the Australian media market and as a consequence complete carte blanche.

I presume you are joking because one acquires knowledge over time.  If I recall correctly there was a degree of notoriety surrounding Miley Cyrus some time back.

For the record my musical tastes are somewhat different than Miley Cyrus.

Swan it's irrelevant to compare the private media to the tax payer funded and owned ABC. The ABC must be held to a higher standard than the private media who any thinking individual can see are biased and agenda driven, this must never be the case for the ABC.
The ABC and SBS are what we mostly watch for news so its very disappointing for me to see this sort of sordid opportunistic journalism from the ABC.

As I said it has been amended and I would expect a critical analysis of it on Media Watch.

In all honesty to compare a private news outlet with the national broadcaster that is obliged to follow a strict charter and is funded to the tune of a billion or more by tax payers to present a un-bias reliable news service is ludicrous in the extreme.

And to be honest I have never see even News Corp crop and edit a news story via video to the extent of this example, mind you they don't have anything like the free to air broadcasting reach the ABC has.
