Or just pre G/F

Bazza its a fantastic start time, spend the day watching the Caulfield cup and the races at Ascot, and then switch over to the footy.

Hopefully everyone will have made some good coin on the races and be able to have fun with some of the exotic bets available on GF day

I'll have to reset my clock. I thought it was on Cox Plate Day.. A full Gabba would be better than a 1/2 full Optus

What makes you think it would be half full, McGowans stage 5 was possibly coming in for it.

And there is no certainly the GABBA will be full anyway.

The Qld government have paid a small fortune for it, in these times that goes against the grain. Let them have it and have to deal with everyone trying to cross the border if Collingwood and or Geelong get in it. Can't rule out WB I guess.

In the meantime stop letting these pricks in here unchecked.

That's a fair point DD, if we have learnt anything in the past 6 months it's that victorian's are not to be trusted to do the right thing in lockdown. Imagine the droves of them sliding into QLD for AFL finals.

Then there's the AFL itself, if ever there was a example of its total disinterest in WA then that's it.

To make it worse the AFL have just rewarded Victoria by extending the MCG rights to host the GF.

Optus in mothballs for months now.

Good.
The state government if they had sense should have been concentrating on our local competitions here. Some country leagues for example abandoned their seasons altogether.
And now many Queenslander's are jumping up and down madly because like WA, their state border is supposed to be closed too. They'll have all these wanky victorian football players, officials and families running around there. Queensland premier said 2 weeks ago," the borders won’t be opening to New South Wales and Victoria until community transmission in those states are zero."
Then many people living in border towns and border communities whom need to cross the border line everyday for medical appointments or work are denied.

I tell you who did do the heavy lifting was the Qld Gov they went hard for it.

Unlike McGowan who was totally disinterested.,

Baz Wa+Sa bids came quiet late in the process. Queensland government had already been lobbying the Afl since footy restarted. They really wanted it more than w+s A

Spot on AR.
Now can these jokers at the WAFC look at Perth Stadium again as the WAFL GF venue as otherwise it will sit closed for months!
