is Tom Morris's story on leaked info on Peter Sumich's interview just scuttlebutt emanating from the east trying to pump up an assistant who is in Melbourne? It is disgusting if there is any truth in it that such confidential information would get out and be totally unprofessional and that leads me to believe it is crap.

Since there are betting markets on coaching appointments it wouldn't surprise me if someone wants to put a ton on Sumich and trying to get his odds to blow out.

If the latter, it speaks volumes about the ethics of the Fremantle Football Club.

Likewise you would agree it speaks volumes about the ethics of the media if this story is false.

If the story is made up, then yes.

And we should expect a strong statement of denial from the FFC.

Kim Hagdorn’s mail was much different, he said the interview went for about 2 1/2 hours and went well but he did concede Justin Longmuir looks just about over the line but there’s a second round of interviews this week. I’m really hoping Suma gets the job I think he’ll be a fantastic coach.

Well if it is the case (which I seriously doubt) that this has been leaked to blow out odds on betting, because someone wants to 'put a ton on Sumich' then that person/s is way dumber than Jaiyden Stephenson from Collingwood.

Never suggested anyone involved with a club. Could be any Joe Blogs that's spread a rumour for his own gain.

Will give Suma plenty of ammunition to fire back at the media particularly in Melbourne in after match pressers if he gets the gig. It will be must watch viewing.
