Let’s not forget Ryan Crowley was suspended for 12 months for returning a positive test for a banned substance.
Michael Johnson was charged for possessing cocaine and ecstasy on separate occasions and Shane Yarran spoke about Fremantle drug culture after departing the club.
Jessie Hogan’s weekend activities aren’t going to be kept away from the public for much longer either.
And 25 years on Freos still got an empty trophy cabinet...

See ASADA are looking at reviewing the rules to preclude recreational drugs and an offender could end up with as low as a month’s sanction. Boy....don’t you reckon the Freo faithful will all go into a death defying tail spin??? Let’s call it the “Willie Rule”.

Don’t get too excited 58, the more serious tampering with a sample will apply and is considered way more serious. Can consider himself very lucky if he gets any less than 4 years.

I don't disagree. I think the Gatorade thing might give him a whack....they got to set a precedent on this one. However, good to see they are looking at a bit of common sense testing for the future. MJ will probably be legalized before long.

Josh Carr a good get. Looks like Freo are trying to put a lot of past Freo into its coaching system. Highly regarded in SA

Yes loads of coaching experience as assistant at PA and coached North Adelaide to a flag. Should be in charge of the mids you would think. Slowly gettin the Freo back into Freo. Maybe get Josh and Phil Read to square off to promote the first Derby in 2020 lol.

It's the further building of the boys club that probably highlights Bells inexperience.

You don't bring a bunch of old mates in to coach a club, nobody will be held accountable

You’re a fair dinkum idiot. So when Malthouse brought old team mate Wiley into the fold was it a boys club? When Woosha brought his mate Suma in to be his assistant was it a boys club? It wouldn’t matter who was in charge at Fremantle you would find fault, it’s your obsession to criticise Fremantle no matter what.

Difference is Freo is an unstable environment.

It's never anybody's fault except the players when a bunch of old mates are in charge. The only way freo got rid of Lyon is when Belly stood up and said this dipshit has to go. Rosich had been protecting Lyon for years.......

You should tell that to Adam Simpson who brought Jade Rawlings to the Eagles and was disappointed to lose him.

You are disrespectful to Justin Longmuir and Josh Carr who both have extensive coaching experience. Who do you think should have got the top job at Fremantle? If it was Sumich no doubt you would have had both barrels loaded and ready to go. Wouldn't matter who was coach, who was FOM, who was CEO at Fremantle you would find fault.

But you dismiss the actions of star player who derailed your clubs quest to go back to back. Go figure.
