Hey does anyone else think it would be much better to off load Johnson rather than Silvangi? Alex is a little awkward but not many beat him and he seems to read the ball very well. I reckon Johnson will be prone to injuries from this point.

History says Johnson will be lucky to play half a season.. so be best to keep Silvagni, but Dawson should strip better next season..

The issue with Silvagni is he's a loose cannon and alway does stupid things, he also has his injury concerns, good defender but not a good user of the footy and as for Zac again quality stopper but in modern day football you need to be more, Zac also does stupid things which costs him weeks most years and is reluctant to kick the ball, unless he can become more attacking by foot it will be his last year in the afl 2017.
Johnson is easily the best of the 3 but he possible only got 1 more year in him with his body, (not sure there would be a lot of interest given his past 2 years, would think you would be offered a lot for him)
I think all 3 need to be at the club next year to cover each other as no doubt that none will play a whole season. Only way I would trade out anyone of these was to swap for a defender from another club. Maybe Silvagni for Marsh

On his past performance you probably would but if you go through his time at Freo Silvagni has come in and done well but has never been able to hold his spot for what ever reason, if your not going to play him regularly then you might as well try and get someone else in and try them.

As I said before I would love to swap him for Marsh even though Marsh's preferred club is WC. He is bigger, quicker and has better skills, still needs a lot of work but i think he is only 20 so times on his side.

Hopefully they can secure Kersten by tomorrow. He would be a really useful forward option and take the pressure off McCarthy somewhat. I wonder if Barlow will end up being traded?

We have 11 players either retired, traded and delisted and so far only got 3 possible 4 in with 6 picks in the draft. A pre-season draft pick.
Most of our unsigned players will need to be resigned otherwise we won't have enough players to fill our squad

Well we got Kersten for pick 63 a pretty good result for us. I think we've done very well. So is Barlow still a Docker?

Freo made out like bandits still a top 10 pick and two second rounders in the draft.

An excellent trade period for Fremantle. They picked up 4 quality players and still have pick 7 in the draft. I would think they would be very happy with their work in the past week or so. Now they need to look at a good big man like Tim English to develop under the tutelage of Sandilands.
