Can't understand this unless they are confident of getting Hamling although a bit of depth doesn't hurt as was shown in 2016. The Eagles have got a lot of defenders so if Adams and Marsh come home they could be playing WAFL

I reckon Adams will stay with the Bulldogs he still has a 1 year contract.
I also reckon the Eagles will pick Marsh up if he comes cheaply,i doubt whether he'd be in there best 22 so he may even get a rookie listing at the Eagles?

I actually think Marsh, under a good coach, could develope into a pretty good swing man. Has elite speed for his size and can play back or forward. Would be happy with any or some of the three.

It would make sense to throw up Alex Sylvagni's name as a trade to compensate the WB like for like. I don't want to rape and pillage a club like the WB who have only just achieved long awaited success. Could be a win win for both Fremantle and Sylvagni who has been dogged with bad luck.

I read somewhere that Adams wants to come home, but not 2017. They said he wants to play out his contract them come back to WA.

Hamling has decided to join Freo, what a trade period McCarthy,Hill, Kersten and Hamling plus keep pick 7! in the Draft which I'm hoping they use on Logue.

Had to laugh when Hackdorn asked Lloyd if he would have to use pick 7 to get the Hamling deal done, do these hacks do any research Hamling is uncontracted played eleven games in five years ffs the most the Bulldogs will get is a third rounder, Freo could send him to the PSD and get him for nothing.

It seems that we will trade pick 35 to get Hamling while pick 42 will be used to get Kersten.

Pick 7 I hope is used either on Tim English or Logue.

I still think there's a couple of players that we could trade out. Barlow to Gold Coast looks like a strong possibility and I'd be trying to package either Ibbotson, Suban, Sutcliffe or Sheridan to see what we can get.

Even though I'm a SD supporter I'd be surprised to see Logue go so early for pick 7....impressive kid but late starter to footy....beep test the other day hasn't hurt his chances I guess

Griff's beep test result made a lot of eyes light up DW, he was also Top 10 in a number of other categories. I hope he goes East tho.

Another big week ahead for Freo as they still need to get the Kersten and Hamling deals done. Also there is a decision to be made about Michael Barlow and to a lesser extent Ballantyne who did come out in the media and ask for a trade. It appears though that he is staying and also Zac Clarke who was also mentioned as possible trade bait
