I think the ball is in Freo's court. They'll be able to match the dough, but in my humble opinion, they will have to convince him that they are on track for a flag. Who knows, maybe he'll take the same track as Judd and Goddard et al, or maybe follow the Pav's example. You Freo boys can put your fingers in your ears and close your eyes in denial, but there's hardly a footballer that wouldn't move clubs if the prospects were better.

And at the moment every other club has better prospects.

Cant believe the crap that has been going on here. Fyfe will play next season and at the end of the season will make a decision as to his future. I doubt he will go anywhere, but if he does Freo will make other arrangements re compensation as he is a restricted free agent.
Also he has to prove his fitness next year as he has had some serious injuries in a short space of time. With the captaincy issue Mundy deserved it as he has been a very loyal servant and fine representative of the club, will probably hand over to Fyfe in 2018.

I'm not saying I believe Haggers or any other reporter. But facts are that Fyfe is thinking about what is best for him and that may not necessarily be at Freo, but you still want to stick your head in the sand like an ostrich! Sure he may stay, become captain blah, blah, blah, but you don't know that, you're just hoping. As for the "trolling", time for you to grow up boy. Every time anyone says anything negative about your holy warriors that still haven't climbed to the top of the footy mountain, you just keep up the "you're a troll, you're a troll, you're a troll". You said in your previous post that Fyfe will leave if they aren't on track for the flag didn't you, well Fyfe didn't say that Hackdorn eluded to it either you believe Hackdorn or your making shit up.

would take these stories with a pinch of salt. The same people were telling us that Neale was going to North Melbourne a few months ago. As any player coming into free agency he is going to have a look at what options he has. I think it is unlikely he would leave Fremantle
